Bomi and Hobin

I entered the store while dragging my luggage behind me. There were many seats where people ate their food in both of my sides and straight ahead was a counter where an employee stood.

I went ahead and looked at the different faces of the employees but I saw no familiar faces. I went to the cashier and asked with my butchered Korean, "Do you have a person named Hobin working here, by any chance?"

The employee, a man of around 30 laughed, "What's up with your Korean dude? Haha, can you say that again?"

I was not amused and stared straight into his eyes and he coughed embarrassingly, "Um sorry, but can you please tell me the name again?"

{Yoo. Hobin Yoo.}

"Hobin Yoo." I repeated.

"No, doesn't ring a bell." The employee said.

{Ask about Bomi Choi then.}

"Then how about Bomi Choi?"

"I don't know dude. I am not aware of all the people working here but I haven't heard of someone like that." He said.

{Then they are not there. Hobin is average but Bomi is a beautiful girl. Surely a man would be aware of her if they worked in the same store.} The author said and I agreed with his deduction.

I thanked the employee before leaving the store. I looked around the city and wondered where I should go next.

I took out my phone, opened Google map and searched for every Fast food around Gangnam. Gangnam was a city that was around 40 km wide and there were hundreds of fast food stores.

"I don't think it's possible to find them. i should just search for a hotel first." I said in resignation.

{Wait!! Let me use Reddit to find out the exact place Hobin worked on. I will search for it, wait for a bit.} the author said.

He was desperate for me to interact with Hobin because he said it would make an exciting story. Of course, this author of mine wanted me to live the most eventful and exciting life.

I shrugged and agreed. Then I strolled around the city again and waited for him to tell me where to go.  I wanted to meet the man Hobin himself.

In the end, the Author found the place quickly. The shop was actually on the outskirts of Gangnam, near the neighboring district of Gangbuk.

The way he found it is through the school the main heroin, Bomi went to, which was Yeongsan. It was one of the only places mentioned in the series.

We used google map to find a fast food shop near the school and there was only one.

"Welp, there is the store." I said to myself, "It's around 20 km away bro."

{Then you better hurry.}

I sighed and waved at a taxi and paid a shit ton of money using my card and took me to the store. Surely the taxi fare would be more than whatever I could get at the store.

I didn't even know why I was wasting all the money. Just to have an exciting life story for the author to write about?

{Oh Come on, don't be so stingy!! You are rich as fuck.} the author said. 

That does not mean we should waste money though. 

{Tell you what, I will tell you all the stocks and other investment which is going to blow up later on. So stop botching.}

My eyes are wide. Of course, he could do that!! Remembering what stocks or which company to invest in had always been a problem but with the Author, I could make a shit ton of money!!

Becoming a billionaire might even be possible.

{Hmm. That sounds interesting. The MC becoming a billionaire would be...quite a story.}

'Whoooo!!! Yes it would be absolutely interesting. Let's go!!' I agreed excitedly. I mean, who wouldn't want more money? It's human nature to want more than we have.

So if I could casually become a billionaire like that then please sign me the fuck in.

'I love you Author.'

{That's gay and get ready, we are reaching the place soon.}

It took nearly an hour with the traffic but while we were conversing about how I was going to become a billionaire, we reached the store.

I went out of the Taxi with my luggage and bid the driver farewell with my bad Korean. The place was bit more empty compared to the main parts of the city.

It was more quiet and more relaxed. The surrounding buildings were also not very big and tall. And on the side far away was the Gangbuk district which was poorer than Gangnam.

Wasting no time, I went inside the store and I was greeted with a similar setting to the one I entered before. There were tables on both sides and at the front was the counter where people ordered food.

There were also screens that played different advertisements on both sides and the AC kept the store at a perfect temperature.

I looked at the clock on the wall and noted the time. It was around 4 pm, meaning it was after school so there was a chance that I would meet Hobin here.

The store was quite empty, I only saw seven people in the store dining at different tables. I would expect more customers at this time of day but I guess not.

There was also no line in the cashier counter so I went ahead. There was someone wearing employee clothes who stood at the counter and my eyes lit up in recognition.

With a scrawny build and a disastrous haircut, the boy stood at an average height of 5'6 but his frail look and slouched back made him look 4 inches shorter.

His face was rather handsome but his ugly expression coupled with bad skincare and messy eyebrows made him look below average.

Not to mention he was picking his nose with a bored look on his face. He looked like, how should I put this kindly?

{A fucking LOSER!!}

...Yeah, that.

I guess there was a reason why[ they called him the King of Losers.

"Good afternoon customer. How can I help you?" He said with practiced ease when I went forward.

I also noticed Bomi beside him. She was a pretty girl with brown hair wearing a red hat. She had a kind smile on her face that contradicted her sexy body which the cloth could not hide.

She smiled lovingly at Hobin's back when he was talking to me.

I took off my face mask and turned my cap up to show my face. It was only then that I caught the two's full attention.
