The Kokiri Mine

As Tack ran farther into the woods carrying Carly, he spotted a little campsite and decided it'd be best to rest and look at the map. Tack let Carly down off his back and then started a campfire to cook some food. Carly went and laid down on a bed of soft leaves. While making lunch, Tack was reading the map, plotting a course, and reading the dangers of the woods and the mine. thirty minutes later, lunch was ready, the course charted, and Carly was awake and eating. After the siblings ate, they got up, put out the fire, packed up, and started on their way to the mine. They ran into minor hindrances like Stalfoes, Octoroks hiding in leaves, and other easily defeated enemies. As soon as the siblings got to the mine entrance, they saw a big boulder blocking the way.

"Looks like a boulder is in the way!" Carly said frustratedly.

"The girl said that these bombs will work on boulders," Tack remembered as he pulled out a bomb, and it immediately lit and rolled the bomb at the boulder, blowing it up. The siblings made their way into the mine. As Tack and Carly entered, they noticed a few carts that had stone and ore that were most likely left behind by the miners. They walked deeper into the mine when all of a sudden, they heard what sounded like scratching.

"What's that sound?" Carly asked, getting her crossbows ready.

"Either a Wolfos or a Skulltula," Tack said, remembering what he read about the mines, as the siblings turned around, they noticed they missed a Skulltula by an inch "It's a

Skulltula, shoot it with an arrow!"

"Ok," Carly replied as she fired an arrow at the Skulltula. The arrow hit the underside of the Skulltula, and it went down and turned to malice like all the other enemies. The siblings continued onward, taking down dekubabas, Skulltulas, and other weak enemies until they came to a fork in the road.

"Which path do we go?" Carly asked, looking at Tack, who was holding the map.

"Well, the map shows the right path is longer but a dead end and the left side is shorter but there are more areas to look in," Tack said while putting the map away and thinking for a moment "We'll go left it's bound to have some ore left."

Tack and Carly started down the left path, glancing down at the map from time to time. Once they made it to the end of the left path, they noticed a door with a lock. "A locked door!? Are you kidding me!!" Carly said anger and annoyance in her voice.

"We'll double back and check the right path," Tack said a little annoyed as well. They headed back to the fork in the road, and as they were about to enter the right path, a Gate came crashing down on both paths and the way out.

The siblings held their weapons at the ready. Just then, they heard what sounded like digging and rattling of bones? Sticks? Rattling of something.

A bunch of skeletons rose from the ground, wielding pickaxes and pieces of wood like shields. "A bunch of Staltoes...Er.....Stalmoes....Ugh.....Stalfoes!!" Carly exclaimed, aiming her crossbow at one. As one of the stalfoes charged at her, she shot an arrow at it, but it managed to block it with the wood. Another stalfoe swung its sword at Tack, who riposted it with a slash, making the armed skeleton lose his footing. Taking the opportunity, Carly shot the stalfoe's head off its body and crushed it beneath her foot. But there were still more of them, Tack pondered what to do, then remembered an item he had. Tack took out the Megaton Hammer from his pouch....which defies physics on every scale.....He slams it down, making a small earthquake causing all the stalfoes to shake and rattle falling to pieces.

"Time to crack some skulls!!" Carly and Tack cheered in unison as they stomped on the skulls of the stalfoes. With the final skull crushed, all the iron bars raised. After the bars disappeared into the ceiling, Tack and Carly cautiously went down the pathway.
