We are bound to break

As the nervous person my sister Shay is , she acted so suspicious by answering to his question with another puzzling reply .

Aden asked :

_How do you know my friend Atlas ?

she replied:

_ go and ask your sister Reena .

_i saw your profiles in a group chatting with him ...how do you know him ?

_ Ask your sister.

She kept answering to his question with the same confusing answer which made it even more suspicious for nothing.

I prepared myself mentally to chill and answer just okay , when I heard a knock on my door , and it opened.

it was Aden :

_ Come to kitchen

_wh....

he didn't even let me finish talking and just left .

I went and opened the kitchen's door , acting like a chill fool who did nothing and heard nothing at all , asking sarcastically to chill out the mood :

_ what is it y'all gathering here *smiling*...is there a reunion?!

He looked at me with his intense eyes but still calm figure and asked :

_How do you know my friend Atlas ?

I looked away like I'm precessing his question in my mind , trying to figure out which Atlas he is talking about whom I clearly know and answered calmly :

_ow ..the blonde guy ? he is your friend?

he looked at me again unbelievably:

_yes , he works with me , so unless he studies with you , which he doesn't clearly how do you know him .

I answered simply still keeping my calm knowing exactly what's on his mind right now :

_well it was one evening...and her friend Dina added us inside a group to just chill and talk whith her friend and neighbor , and once we woke up ...we were ..just there .

_ So are you telling me that's it to all of it ?

_ well duh ! what are you expecting? it's a group ..and multiple people chat in a group , it's not like a private conversation...

He looked at me with his intense suspicious eyes , observing me for a moment and then replied :

_well I don't want you to be friends with my friend, so leave the group immediately, or else next time I swear I'll break your phones .

I was getting hurt and emotional but didn't wanna show it so all I did is answer with a simple " of course " and went back to my room .

the first thing I did while on my bed and teary eyes is " leave the group" with no explanation behind me , and started crying in my bed .

after all the crying I texted my sister Shay to explain to Atlas without making him feel guilty and then went back to crying all the hurt and pain and betrayal I was feeling at the moment away .

I cried for so long I couldn't feel my face muscles no more .

it was partially because I saw it so selfish of him .

why when I finally found a reason to stay , to feel alive and see colors and feel the sun shining on me for the first time in so long in this empty desert that I hated ....all my fantasies broke in a blink of an eye .

I saw all that I have started to build , falling down .

there was nothing that I could do , I felt useless.

all of my doubts and nightmares that I had about Us being together , they finally came alive , they reached the surface that I was scared of .

Just how quickly things were almost starting ...they quickly ended .
