A hero? Me? Not a chance!

Heroes are stupid, never killing a dangerous villain... Even when the villain has committed genocide, heroes will try to "find the good" in others... What a load of bull crap. I'm the one who has to clean up after their mistakes, and they treat me like some kind of villain... Well, I am, but that's not the point. I am a villain who targets mostly other villains, and heroes are too upset about their pride to do anything about it.

1] Starting to fix the stupid...

(3rd POV, ???)

Hundreds of bodies, dozens of destroyed buildings, men and women crying. There stands a group of people, battered and bruised. The group looks upon the carnage, and all of their eyes lock on a single target.

The thing they are looking at is a person, the only defining features is it's glowing white eyes, abyss black skin and hair, and the haze that this person emits.

(MC POV, MC's house)

I awake in a cold sweat, immediately tossing my blanket off. My bed is completely soaked.

MC- "If I lived with anyone, they might think I just peed the bed... Geez, what happened to me?" Gazing upon my body I notice that my condition seems better than it did before I went to sleep.

I look around my room and realize, 'I'm not in my room.' I walk over to a desk that has a note on it.

-----

{To Shin

We leave this house to you, the bills are paid automatically. You will get $500 a month for food and other things. The Hero's Association in Japan wanted us to move, unfortunately we couldn't bring you along... I wish we could have told you sooner, but we couldn't bear breaking the news. I know that this is a horrible way to tell you, but this is the only way to protect you. I'm sorry that we had to leave on your birthday, enjoy high school, and don't tell anybody about your powers, we love you.

With love and regret,

Mom and Dad}

"Wow, sounds like a load of bull." I move the note aside and explore "my" room. I find a mirror and look into it. "Oh, okay... Nice." I look at my black hair and red eyes, with a probably above average face.

I wander around my room for a while before going outside of it. Immediately outside is a hallway with a bathroom and another bedroom. I leave the hallway and find myself in a living room, with lots of space. After the living room is the kitchen, which is pretty big as well.

After scouring the whole house, I plop myself on a couch in the living room. Finding a remote, I immediately turn on the TV, what shocks me is the news. I see a guy in a superhero costume, but what confuses me more, is the fact that he's flying.

Shin- "Super powers? Wait, this better be real." I flip through different channels, and sure enough. Lots of people doing supernatural things can be seen. "So that letter wasn't a scam?" I think back to what it said. "Do I really have powers?"

After about 5 minutes of doing stupid chuuni poses, I sigh and sit on the couch again. I cross my legs and start meditating, mentally probing my body searching for something that I feel is different. I feel a weird tingling feeling in my stomach, and I start focusing on it more.

After a moment of doing whatever that was, my stomach growls. "*Sigh* Nevermind, I thought I was on to something." I get up and go into the kitchen, making myself a meal.

It seems that I already have enough food to last for a while,  so I don't really mind how much I eat.

After eating the food I take my dishes to the sink. Just as I placed the majority of the dishes down, a spoon falls. I try to catch it, but miss.

I reach my hand out and purple lightning flickers between my fingers. When that happens the spoon slows down it's descent.

"What the..." I bend over and grab the slowly falling spoon. An inch long strand of purple lightning flickers around my body every few seconds.

"Am I the Flash or something?" Before forgetting the feeling that I just had, I try to do it again.

[Voided Ability: Telekinesis, (F) 1%]

"Wait, Voided abilities? What does that mean?" I hold my hand toward another spoon, trying to pull it to me. The lightning flickers around me once again, and the spoon starts sliding to my direction. Once the spoon reaches the edge, it falls and almost in a gliding motion makes it's way to me.

The spoon hits the ground a couple feet away from me, and this causes me to frown slightly. Let's try that again... I pick the spoon up and put it back on the table.

After thirty minutes, my struggles have finally paid off. The spoon is slowly floating it's way to my hand, and a smile makes it's way upon my face.

"Finally, visible progress... Took long enough." I lift the spoon with my telekinesis and spin it above my hand by a couple inches.

"I'll just improve my mastery an-"

{Masteries:

[Telekinesis, (F)] 40%}

"Well, at least I can see my progress." I try to make the information from before appear, causing me to make a strange face.

[Voided Ability: Telekinesis, (F) 20%]

"So they're different... Sweet." I start playing with the floating spoon, trying to increase my mastery. Maybe a second object will increase the speed...

I try to pick up something else, and my spoon falls back into my hand. "Heh, looks like a new way to train."

I then spend the next few hours trying to pick up more than one object at a time, unsuccessfully. Good news, I can easily manipulate the original spoon as if it were in my hand. When I tried to pick up a chair, the most I could do was move it slightly.

After doing the dishes using Telekinesis on the sponge, I sit down on the couch and start watching TV.

"Super heroes this, super villains that. Is there something else on?" I flip through a bunch of channels which 90% are about super powered beings.

I finally find an anime, but... It's basically a MHA ripoff. "Meh, I'll watch it to see how it compares to the original." Long story short, it was pretty good. Well, at least the first twelve episodes. I didn't watch much else.

Don't think I wasn't doing anything the whole time I was watching anime, I was practicing my Telekinesis the whole time.

I switch to a news channel to see if anything is going on, only to see a report about a mass murdering supervillain being put in jail. I nod in approval, until what they say next reaches my ears.

Police person- "He won't be able to break out this time, we made sure to do extra precautions since his last jailbreaks." I spit out some water.

"Did he say jail-BREAKS? As in plural?" I immediately start scouring the internet through the computer on my desk in my room. I am appalled at what I see.

After looking through articles and seeing many statements of heroes and their associations, I came to one conclusion.

"Are they freaking idiots? Why is it looked down upon to kill villains?" I see an article where a hero was jailed for killing a villain, after the villain flattened an entire city killing thousands.

"This seems familiar..." I remember reading about this type of situation in a novel in my previous world, The Weight of a Tempest.

The main character, Schwere Sturm, or better known as Tempest, obtained a resolve to become a hero after this incident. He even changed his legal name to Atlas Hokori to symbolize his resolve.

I don't have anything against him or his ideals, I just really hate the situation he was put in. If I'm going to change the world to suit me, I'll need to put some counters to his powers.

His most broken ability is [Limit Break], it acts essentially as a zenkai boost and Kaio-Ken mixed together. The only good thing for me, is that he doesn't get a strength boost whenever he does it to himself.

His most annoying ability is [Gravity Manipulation], but I can basically counteract that with my Telekinesis.

His most powerful and useful is [Electro-Kinesis]. He can generate/control lightning, and control technology to a lesser degree.

Later down the line he gets [Shadow Manipulation] from a "cursed object", but I can probably take that from him.

Speaking of things I can take from him, Aiya Lemir has some potential to join my side. Aiya has [Cryo-Kinesis] and [Recovery], Both of which are very good. Her [Cryo-Kinesis] is A-Rank, and so is her [Recovery].

First thing's first, I've got to figure out where I am in the timeline. So I end up spending a couple hours researching, and I can easily say... I know exactly where I am, and knew the moment I saw that news article.

I sigh as I realize that I'll end up having to take some alien lifeform into my consciousness. Whatever, I'll deal with this later. Procrastination! Yeah!

I look at the time. 9:00 PM, this is way too late for me to do anything... or is it? Maybe I could sneak out and try to steal the cursed object...

No way in HFIL, I have at least three years before I even have to consider taking it. I'm going to sleep before I give myself a brain tumor thinking about all this crap.

*** The next morning, 5:30 AM

So I basically wrote down everything I could remember about the series... And I just now got finished.

I spent the whole night worrying about things I might forget... And now I have to stay awake for another while, ugh. Might as well just train my power until I have to do something else.

Using my telekinesis to draw a picture, notice something different.

[Voided Ability: Telekinesis, (E) 0%] {Mastery: (E) 10%}

"Oh, nice. I didn't know I could increase the rank of my abilities... I can increase the rank of my abilities!?" I figured I could increase the mastery, but this is some main character crap.

A wicked smile creeps onto my face.

"I guess I better start planning my alter ego." I immediately start drawing my costume out on a sheet of paper.

"Time to start fixing the stupid ideals of this world, one step at a time."

I had to make up a whole novel just for this story, so I asked a friend what powers he would want if he were a hero in this world. I have to say, he came through.
