His Name, The Slasher!

"We have closed in on the location of The Slasher, but I do not have his exact location. We should send superheroes to corner him," An eighteen-year-old lady blurted out, she looked genuinely worried because the longer he runs free, the harder their numbers fall.

These were a group of superheroes trying to make their way into the limelight, they wanted to be as famous and popular as the rest, and catching the Slasher would only increase their opportunity but Slasher was in no way weak.

Supernatural beings were grouped into multiple grades.

D being the weakest and SSS+ being the strongest, this man was presumed to be between A-S, no one could give an accurate measure because he was a man that superheroes rarely encountered due to his meticulous nature which made it even stranger that he had slipped up the way he did.

No one was aware of his ability but he has been wanted for quite some time, he went quiet suddenly four years ago, everyone assumed he was either killed or just stopped but he repressed his desires in those years.

But one could only go so far, he couldn't hold it in any longer and returned to his old habits putting every hero on high alert.

This was no ordinary killer, he was a serial killer that targeted people at random but his killing template was the same, this was the only way they could identify that The Slasher was back.

"Where is he!? Can we take him?" A nineteen-year-old dark-skinned boy responded.

"We have to! We have to make Gen Z known to the world and this might be our only chance, I could only track him this far because of my ability but there is only so much I can do! We will have to make do with this for now!" The lady was serious about this.

"You are right, Alessia! I have contacted Boy Of Steel, he is the best suited to fight Slasher!" The boy responded, these two didn't possess powers suited for combat but they were excellent for support.

"Let's hope we can get him, Samuel!" Alessia was nervous as they were trying to put their new superhero group, Gen Z, on the map.

The eighteen-year-old Boy Of Steel got the notification and a GPS location was sent to his phone, he noticed that it would take a couple of minutes for him to reach there but something told him he wouldn't make it in time.

"They found The Slasher?" Boy Of Steel muttered, he knew this person was a wanted man.

He didn't hesitate and rushed to the location in a heartbeat, a location he arrived in no less than thirty minutes at full speed.

He was out of breath but he had reached the location, Boy Of Steel arrived too late.

He discovered the corpse of Mrs. Michaelson but he could not see the man responsible for it but he did not stop his search. The footprints were fresh, he was still around.

The Boy Of Steel was on guard just in case, but the likelihood of him even being damaged was extremely low because of his superpower.

He could turn his entire body to different types of metals, and this included Tungsten, the strongest metal in the world.

"Who dares trespasses against my holy place?" A voice said behind Boy Of Steel, this instinctively put him on the defensive as it showed The Slasher hadn't left.

"You will soon regret not escaping! Slasher!" The Boy Of Steel barked, taking on the properties of Tungsten but the masked man was unimpressed.

"My bad, I forgot something. Slasher? What do you suppose my power is? Long claws?" The man questioned, even joking about his current situation as he began walking towards the young boy casually, each step sending an alarm up the spine of the superhero.

"I-I need to stay calm! My defense is absolute…" The superhero thought to himself, he pointed his open palm in the direction of the approaching serial killer as multiple projectiles protruded from it, composed of the same material from his body.

"It doesn't matter what your power is! What matters is you aren't leaving here alive!" The superhero threatened but this was a threat that his enemy didn't recognize.

The projectiles were released and bombarded the position of the man, shattering the ground and shredding everything in their path. There was no doubt, this was a clean hit but something strange was happening, the man kept walking toward him.

"You have been misled by the nickname they gave me, child," The villain said.

"Let me demonstrate what a true killer looks like," The villain said, the superhero noticed that his attacks didn't even put a scratch on his body, the villain had erected a telekinetic barrier to repel the assault.

The supervillain stretch forth his hand and the hero suddenly felt all his muscles stiffen up, he couldn't move an inch and he was lifted off the ground and into the air slowly.

"You see, my power isn't something as trivial as growing claws." The villain educated the young boy, and with his other hand, he pointed his index finger at the suspended boy.

"I can cut through anything, absolutely anything…" The villain said, as he slowly moved his finger horizontally like he was playing a musical instrument.

"W-Wait! We can talk to this ou-!" The superhero soon lost his ability to speak as his neck was slicing open along The Slasher's finger movement.

The hero had been injured, tearing through his defense like butter, the superhero's power was effective against physical attacks but no one knew what this man's power was so he had the element of surprise.

"You know what they say… The good die young, you may rest knowing you were good," The Slasher said, reverting his hand as the lifeless body of The Boy Of Steel dropped to the ground with a thump.

"This place has been made," The Slasher was surprised that a superhero found him and knew it would be troublesome if they had a power that could track him.

He had to send a message to them and everyone watching, a form of poetic retribution.

The heroes have hugged the spotlight for too long, it was now the villain's turn.
