An Item Of The Past!

Michael was not one to sit idle, he went to meet Tee because Tee was a man that he thought understood him. Michael refused to believe that he was not real.

There was no way that Tee was acting because he felt connected to him.

Michael saw Tee with Megan, Megan was seated between his legs and Tee's hands were underneath her shirt.

Michael now understood that they were not just meeting, these two knew each other but funny enough, they complimented each other. Michael could see this relationship working.

"Yo Michael," Tee called out, his tone was friendly but Tee didn't stop fondling Megan's breasts because why should he?

Michael didn't look uncomfortable and walked casually in their direction, taking a seat a couple of paces away from them.

"Hey, Tee…" Michael only acknowledged his presence, ignoring Megan because he had no business with her.

"Are you alright?" Tee asked, it was clear that Megan was feeling whatever he was doing to her, this was evident by her sinking her upper teeth into her lower lips.

"Tee, everything you said… Was it a lie?" Michael asked straight away but Tee was puzzled by this.

"You mean the people we killed?" Tee said, removing his hands from underneath Megan's crop top, her nipples poking out to show she was aroused.

Michael's eyes, however, never once looked in that direction and were focused on Tee.

"Yes," Michael responded bluntly.

"It was not fake, that was what my brother did to me when I was a kid," Tee said, he had set up that scene to see if Michael had the mental strength to withstand something that made him who he was today.

"What?" Michael asked, clearly needing more explanation because this was somewhat vague.

"Jay took me out one day and promised to make me into a woman. I thought he meant he was going to get me laid but he took me into this room with people and made me decide which one of them got to live. There was a pregnant woman, a child, and a toddler. I could only let one live," Tee said flatly, his voice devoid of any compassion or remorse.

Megan rolled her eyes, Tee had told this story far too many times and now, Michael had given him a reason to say it once again,

"What did you choose," Michael asked and Tee's face contorted into a sickening grin.

"No one, I killed them all. That was the right answer," Tee said proudly and Michael felt a sense of relief because this meant the man he experienced in that simulation was real.

".... But you can imagine how any parent would react to their underaged son coming back home covered in blood. Jay was disowned and thrown out of the house. Part of me always thought I owed him, he showed me the world I'm experiencing right now," Tee said as Megan stood up.

He couldn't help himself and slapped her ass, it jiggled like it was made of water.

Megan looked back at him and smirked, they both wanted each other and Michael knew he was the only person standing in their way or they would be all over each other.

"You know what I called the woman I killed with a kid?" Tee said, holding in his laugh.

"What?" Michael asked, indulging his new friend.

"A Double Special," Tee said as he burst out laughing, he was hitting the ground hysterically.

Michael could see the humor in it but it wasn't that funny.

It wasn't funny enough to make him lose his shit like Tee was currently doing.

"That's quite funny," Michael said with a smile.

"I know right? But enough about me, I take it that James has briefed you on why you are here," Tee said and Michael nodded to affirm it.

"Apex Protector, huh? If you pull that off, you will be the strongest villain to exist!" Tee exclaimed excitedly but he knew that Michael was nowhere close to being able to do this.

No one was, no villain has been able to get to that superhero without being killed by the other members of The Chosen 5.

They were one of the strongest groups in the world because of how they not only worked as a team but individually.

"I need power, I don't intend to be a pawn in anyone's game," Michael said and Tee liked this reply.

"So let us leave, we signed an illegal contract so why are we still here? What will he do, arrest us?" Tee joked. James' saving grace was how much he intended to pay them.

"I need the money, the money is why I'm here…" Michael responded, he was self-aware enough to know these things take time and he was willing to be a pawn until then.

"The world is changing, and I wish to spearhead this change," Michael said under his breath but it looked like he was talking to himself.

There was no doubt in Tee's mind, Michael would become a force of nature with the current mindset he had and he had every interest in being part of this story.

"Ethan! What are you doing here?" Mrs. Naomi rushed downstairs with her nightgown but he didn't respond to her.

"Naomi, how long have you been lying to me?" Ethan asked her but she was confused by this question, he adjusted her glasses and nightgown.

"W-What are you talking about?" Naomi questioned but Ethan wasn't having it.

He was tired and walked towards the woman, she was frozen in place because she realized that he did so with malicious intent.

Just then, the lights switched on and a man walked down the stairs to see both of them.

"Naomi, what is going on?" This was her husband and this was probably the worst place he could be in.

"I'm fine honey, go back upstairs," Naomi tried to dismiss her husband for his own safety.

Ethan stopped abruptly and his attention shifted to Naomi's husband.

With one look, he understood why Naomi didn't respect her marriage and showed a rather immoral side of herself to him.

The man had a pot belly, he was short and was balding, the opposite of the kind of man one would expect from a woman such as Naomi considering she was a beauty.

"What is going on here? You need to leav-!" Before he could finish his full sentence, Ethan's hand was around his mouth, no one even registered when he moved.

"You should have listened to your wife," Ethan said and Naomi was frightened.

"What do you want!?" Naomi screamed and she watched Ethan's other hand rummage through his pockets and whatever he brought out made Naomi's eyes widen in disbelief.

"Y-You were the one with it!?" Naomi blurted out and the thing revealed to be in his hand was a flash drive.
