A New Bill?

Michael introduced himself to Megan as it was common courtesy, she had a vile mouth and Tee was hoping that she could use that mouth to do other things.

"Megan, that is such a refined name. It surely doesn't suit you…" Tee said, starting a proper conversation with her by putting her down.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Megan fired back, Michael was confused as to why he was being mean to her because he thought Tee was interested in her so shouldn't he be nicer?

"A name more…." Tee paused, looking at her exposed flesh with wanting eyes.

"..... slutty…" Tee said and Michael giggled at this, Tee was a piece of work and this was something he would also say in a similar situation.

Maybe Michael was wrong, maybe Tee had no interest in Megan and just wanted to torment her.

Megan wasn't pleased with the way she was being spoken to by the younger adult but she just giggled when she thought about how absurd it is.

"I bet you like them slutty, is that why you wish I was? You want to take me to a bathroom and fuck my brains out, is that it?" Megan mocked Tee and Tee was caught off guard by her response.

He expected to get under her skin but she didn't bite and Tee just chuckled.

"You're a foul-mouthed one, aren't you?" Tee fired back, Megan lacked the etiquette of what a lady should be like.

"Raw words aren't the only thing this mouth is good at…" Megan said with a wink.

Michael had no idea what the fuck was going on but he didn't want to be here or he risked being caught in the battle of horny words.

But everyone's attention was soon drawn to the big-ass television plastered on the wall, easily measuring 128 inches, it was a news report.

"Apex Protector saves the day? We have breaking news and reports from multiple sources that Apex Protector stopped a robbery and this resulted in zero casualties. They just…. gave up." The news anchor seemed surprised by this.

".... We have reports of other heroes mimicking this gesture around the United States, videos are rampant online with massive support from citizens as they have begun to push for superheroes to not only target supervillains but any criminal. The push has become strong and the government has been forced to consider this possibility. It is unprecedented, this much support in little over an hour?" The news anchor was shocked by this development but not only by them but by everyone that watched the news.

They knew what would happen if this came into play, the superheroes would not be limited by how they operate and could even attack their employers.

But there was a bright side to this, if superheroes can intervene with human activities or affairs then humans with nefarious motives are more likely to hire supervillains to carry out their tasks increasing the activities of supervillains themselves.

"Well, fuck." Megan blurted out, unwrapping a lollipop to stick between her perky lips.

"What does this mean?" Michael was confused because this was the first time he had even heard about such a thing existing but now it made a lot more sense why heroes never intervened in his suffering.

Michael had it all wrong from the start but this didn't diminish his disgust for them, it only amplified it.

In the comics he read, heroes saved anyone in trouble and this has been the case in high-profile rescues.

There was no such thing as an absolute rule, there were always exceptions.

"It means that James is about to have his hands full, that's what. This little academia of his starts in two days and to have such an announcement could either make or break his little project…" Tee said. Michael didn't know his reason for wanting to be a villain but it looked like it was him running away from someone called the Razor Riddler and with Megan here.

It was only a matter of time before the others poured in and classes started.

Michael was beginning to think that Elizabeth wouldn't survive here because these people were a lot different from her.

But why did he care? Why was he worrying about her chance at survival when he didn't care about her?

Edward was excited about this, he had seen his role model on television but he was doing something that benefited mankind.

He was shocked but excited and Alessia was interested in the newest member of the crew.

Samuel, however, wasn't a fan of this because Alessia was a girl that fell in love too easily.

He needed to protect her because he didn't know the kind of person Edward was but he also couldn't deny that Edward had a calm aura about him.

He was like a child that had seen his idol, there was something innocent in his eyes.

Damon was informed about the opportunity that awaited them should they meet certain criteria but he didn't tell the rest of his team because he knew what false hope does to a person.

"This is good, we will have more opportunities to gain a solid reputation. I don't know what is next but I hope the bill passes…" Samuel blurted out, trying to start a conversation with the rest of the team.

"This is good, right?" Edward questioned, he could barely contain his excitement but it was also dawning on him right now that he was a superhero.

Everything he had talked about with Michael was coming to fruition but Michael wasn't here to witness it.

Edward's excitement soon faded.

"It is good but it is bad too. We don't even know what the hell is happening! Supervillains that exist, we have barely encountered any but this is sure to get them out in the open! I don't know why but the supervillains in this country aren't active because the villains in other countries are tearing things up so it begs the question. What is keeping them all under control?" Fred ranted but every word he said held logic.

If the superheroes were allowed to intervene with human business, this would mean that they had the potential to intervene in the business of the Four Kings of the underworld, the very forces keeping the villains in check so what would happen then?

You guessed it, chaos.
