CHAPTER 4 - AVA MISSED IT (2)

Ava feels comfortable with the girls but was interested in the kind of job they are doing.

Ava: "Girls, where are you working?"

(The girls looked at each other and smiled)

Catherine: "We work with an organization."

Ava: "What are they into?"

Rose: "They're into exchange.".

Ava: " What are they exchanging?"

Charlotte: "You will know soon."

Ava: "Okay."

(After a while, the girls dressed up)

Ava: "Are you ready for work?"

The Girls: "Yes."

Ava: "Wow! You all look beautiful"

The Girls: "We have to!"

Ava: "When will you be back?"

The Girls: "Soon."

The Girls: "What should we buy for you on our way coming?"

Ava: "Nothing, I'm fine."

The Girls: "Okay." (They went out )

Ava wasn't pleased with their response concerning the job they were doing.

Ava: "An exchange, what is that, and how is being done?"

Ava: "I just hope it's work I can do too."

(She tidy up the rooms and watch their dirty clothes before they came back). The girls came back with lots of goodies.

The Girls: "Ava, you have a magic hand! The house is clean and our clothes are cleaned too. Thanks so much." (They hugged her)

Ava: "It's nothing. I did that as I was bored."

Rose: "We appreciate you."

(They all undressed and go for a shower)

Ava: "You closed at the same time?"

Catherine: "Yes, but most times; we wait for one another."

Ava: "That's good. When am I resuming too?"

The Girls: "Very soon."

Ava: "You guys bought a lot of things, what for?"

The Girls: "One needs to enjoy after great work."

Ava: "I don't understand."

The Girls: "Ava, you'll understand when the time comes. Now, just enjoy yourself."

(They brought out the stuff in the bags)

Ava: "You girls are enjoying big time!"

Catherine: "We've to."

Ella: "We work to enjoy." (They all laughed)

As they were drinking juices, eating snacks, and cheering; Ava asked questions.

Ava: "Girls, can you tell me what happened to your parents, please?"

(The girls shuddered )

The Girls: "Not now Ava."

Ava: "Why?"

The Girls: "We're enjoying this moment girl."

(She allows them to be done)

Ava: "Can you please tell me?"

The Girls: "Since you insisted, we will."

Ella: "I lost my parents at a tender age. Aunt raised me and when she couldn't cope, she sent me to her friend as a maid unknown to me. Things get messy and I need to run away from them. I found myself on the street where I met Catherine, Rose, and Charlotte. (She was crying bitterly)

Ava: " It's a sad one."

Rose: "Dad died in a car accident and mom couldn't bear the loss. She died a few months that dad died." No one showed concern as I was abandoned. I was staying with my grandma that has nothing to help me. Instead of being a burden, I left her to sustain her and myself."

Catherine: "Mine was different from the rest(she cried before starting)." I didn't know my parents. I grew up with unknown people that rescued me when they found me in a bush. Life wasn't easy at all with them and that's why I left. (She cried)

Ava: (she was crying along with them), "it's a horrible thing to lose one's parents.
