A Game Of Chance

Do you know what the worst day of your life was? Can you picture it? Do you remember everything that made it the worst? I shall tell you the story of 200 people's worst day ever, or rather, for 198 of them. You see, only 2 are considered the winners, the others merely survived. Let's begin shall we? 20,000 people from around the Earth have been chosen to participate in a battle for another world. 10,000 on one side, 10,000 on the other. That was what was proposed to the leaders of the world, a mere 20,000 and in exchange, resources, treasures, and power would be spread across the world. However, things are not always how they seem. The "deal" was not made public, the chosen were secretly taken, and power was never given. Those that have such power, as to enter another world in another dimension and/or universe, wouldn't have to listen or even acknowledge or existences, let alone keep a promise. They were taken. Stolen. But there was nothing to be done. In another world, in another dimension/universe, 20,000 human souls were given a test of might. For those that have power equal to the Gods, what better entertainment than a fight to the death. But it couldn't be as simple as that now could it? Oh no, instead, they decided that each side will have 10,000 and each with have to fight themselves till there are only 100 left. Incredible no? Absolutely marvelous no? Genius no? I've gotta say, it was an absolutely incredible battle, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

Don't Stick It In Crazy

Atop the highest building in the largest city in America, sits a woman wearing an open black jacket revealing scars across her chest. She dangles her feet off the edge while staring at everything below her.

"Almost seems unreal you know?" She turns around and asks a man in a dark suit. "Just wait till you see everything our world has to offer. Then this'll seem like the realest." He says with a smile. She stands up and takes a phone out of her pocket, opens the camera, and takes a picture of the mans face. "Nice." She laughs and shows it to him. He stares at it and looks confused, till he starts laughing at it. "Take a picture of me." She tosses him the phone and sits back down on the edge. *Click* *Flash* "Without the flash you idiot." *Click* "Nice. Let me see!!" She jumps up and snatches the phone out of his hands. "Sol is gonna love it!" She spins around in a circle till she falls over and lands on her back. "Can we do it again? I wanna see if I can actually kill him this time." She stares at the man with puppy dog eyes. "Hard no. No way." He gets serious for a second. She sticks her tongue at him. She stares up at her phone and takes a picture of her face. *Click* She giggles and sits up, stretches her shoulders and stands up. "When do we have to go again?" She stares at the city. "Either tomorrow at noon or whenever you want." He says with a huff. "So, till then I can do whatever I want right? No matter what?" She gets really close to his face. "The rules were: 1. You have 1 full day back on Earth. 2. You have free reign to do literally anything with no consequences. 3. That's it." A large smile creeps across her face. "Would you mind taking me to my family home? I've got some 'business' to take care of, but after that I'll be ready to go, promise." He cocks his head to the side and stares at her, baffled, "Of course ma'am." He takes a couple steps back. "Ready to go right now?" She turns toward the man. "Ready for takeoff!" He shakes his head, "I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls up his sleeves, revealing intricate tattoos that look like a mix of Nordic rune and Japanese. "Keep close." He cracks his knuckles and the runes start to glow a dark greenish blue. "Oooh pretty colors." A dark greenish blue portal forms underneath their feet. *BOOM* A large spout of water erupts from the portal.
