Chapter 3

searching around Alex finally found the dorm, there was sign in front of what looked like a castle because of its size

"summer breeze dormitory.. well looks good"

after chuckling to himself.

as he approached the door he saw Erina in a daze looking at him, smiling calmly he said "hey Erina, I'm not late am i" Erina rolled her eyes and said "come in you have to past the dorms test"

Alex nodded

walking in a strange black hair dude with a bandana assaulted him "let's have a shokugeki, I'll crush you until you cry ......."

"Sure" Alex responded "oh by the way is this the test" "uh I guess" said Erina with a dumbfounded face

"Let's go to the kitchen then"Alex said with a teasing smile

"I'm gonna wipe that smirk of your stinkin face" responded the strange dude who's name was unknown

"the rules are simple, you have to use leftovers from today to make a simple dinner" said Erina

Alex started looking through the ingredients finally deciding to make one of his specialities, egg cake and fish fillet congee.

he started cleaning the fish and cutting it with extreme accuracy, the pieces of fish cut of looked like delicate paper, he then added a few spices and left it aside. Alex took out a bowl of rice and boiled it in water, he then put the fish in to boil to.

next he started working on the egg cakes, he took out four eggs, cracked them into a bowl and scrambled them well he then added the chopped scallions.

he took out a relatively large bowl and poured out half a small bag of flour, and in a few seconds he made the batter. he poured the egg mixture into the batter and mixed it well.

After a later of oil was applied to the pan, after heating it up he poured two spoonful of batter on it and evenly spread it, after a bit he flipped the cake over, he waited until both sides of the cake turn slightly brown before he cut them into pieces and put it into a plate.

having finished the egg cakes the fish congee was also ready, a soft yet fragrant aroma swept through their nose

he then served it to the people on the table "its ready" Alex turned his head and saw the black haired dude giving his final touches to.

The people on the table couldn't stop themselves after having a bite, the felt like they were wrapped up in a delicate egg cakes floating in the middle of an ocean with beautiful small fishes swimming around.

the last one to taste this dish was Erina, taking a spoon of the egg cake with some congee on it she took a bite and it instantly took her to heaven, even with her god tongue she couldn't figure out why it was so good.

after eating the other dudes plate albeit good they still voted for Alex winning him his first shokugeki.
