A Druid In Game Of Thrones

When a teacher dies to save his student, he is sent to the Game of Thrones universe by a R.O.B. Then he chooses to be a druid. Let's see what he can do when he wakes up as a commoner child. This is going to be a slow-burning series, and this is my first project as an author. He starts as weak as possible then he will get strong. If everything goes right, I'm thinking of writing 500 chapters at the very least, and this will not be a carbon copy of the plot. I m going to change things like the timeline and more. The story starts between Robert's Rebellion and Greyjoy's Rebellion. This is an AU. A/N: mc will trade his memories of the book and tv show to gain more power, but he will still remember his life in the modern world and will carry all the knowledge he gained in this world to his new life. I do this because I don't want an omniscient mc, I want him to make mistakes and develop by learning from these mistakes. Disclaimer: I don't own the ASOİAF or the G.O.T. series; they belong to author G.R.R. MARTİN. Cover art is taken from a stock photo site. A/N: there are knights in the north; they are just not called knights. Heavy cavalrymen in the north serve a nearly identical function to knights south of the Neck and are considered knights in all but name. I just don't want to call them cavalrymen. So there are knights in the north, but they don't take their oath to the seven. A/N: English is not my first language, so if there is a grammar issue, please tell me, and I will try to fix it. I will try to release 3-4 chapters a week. If you want to read ahead or donate, you can visit p-a-tre-on/kurowashi

CHAPTER 107

288 AC

As I heard the horn, I shouted with all my might

"CHARGE!!!"

Three hundred soldiers began to run at full speed through the woods. The west gate was about 800 meters away. There were still close to eight hundred soldiers outside the gate, and I could see the Tawney Banner amid these eight hundred soldiers just outside the gate. It wouldn't even take me a few seconds to get that distance on Sith's back, but I told Sith to walk because I needed to move with my army.

Noticing our arrival, the Ironborns turned back and tried to form a defensive line, but the battle broke out before they could fully prepare. I ordered Sith to rush at full speed as my men approached enemy lines. But I told Berus and Lyka to come from behind because I didn't want their minimization spells to be broken. If they lose themselves in the fight, they might lose control of the minimization spell, and I didn't want to show that all my familiars are huge.

As Sith jumped into enemy lines, I threw my large smoke bomb right into the middle of the ironborn soldiers and cast the sambrar (fog cloud) spell. About 20 meters of fog started to spread out of nowhere, but I aimed further back rather than close to us, or it would have started to interfere with my soldiers while they were fighting. The ironborn soldiers, which were beginning to lose their sight, were breaking their lines, and it was clear that Tawney was shouting orders, but none of the soldiers had heard him out of panic. Seeing Sith, the soldiers retreated in fear.

I sent some mana towards Sith, and using that mana, a huge roar shook everyone to their bones. She was killing people, left and right. With every swipe of her claws, guts, and heads were falling onto the ground. The Ironborns were attacking with spears and swords, but the mana surging through her body prevented them from hurting her. It still does some blunt force damage, but it is nothing more than some bruises. In this fight, I wasn't very effective at the fight.

Don't get me wrong. To the ironborn, I might have looked like a reaper but because of my sword. I wasn't able to reach the enemy with good range. I need to arrange a weapon to use when I am mounted as soon as possible. Berus and Lyka were busy breaking arms and legs with every bite in the rear lines. On the other hand, Imu was slithering under the ground, biting everyone one by one. Until he ran out of mana and venom, I think he bit around 100 soldiers.

POV DARRİN TAWNEY

Everything was going well. At least, I thought so. We landed with no problem and marched to the castle. Our spy had fulfilled his mission and provided us with important information, and when the war started, he would open the gate under our command at the most crucial moment and enable us to burn the city down. The war started just as we expected. At first, we started to lose a little more, but as we approached the walls, we pulled the soldiers to the north walls as planned and started to slide towards the west gate slowly.

Our spy signaled that he was ready, and we signaled him to open the doors when everything was ready. The signal was given, and the doors opened as we expected, but everything started going wrong from then on. The Northerners had created a complete death corridor inside the gate, but 800 to 1000 soldiers had already entered by the time we realized it. Although orders to retreat were given, the men behind could not retreat because, at this very moment, another force attacked from behind us.

All of a sudden, it started to fog, and it was impossible to understand what was what. I could only see the horse-sized shadowcat and the man on top of it, tearing my men apart. This man was advancing towards me like an unstoppable force with his soldiers. Although we rained arrows from the rear, not one of them was even touching this man and the two people next to him. Just a few meters beside him, a giant made out of iron was gorging my men from one direction to the other like a bull. Every swing of his hammer was a life lost for our side.

Smoke and two monsters in front of us had pushed the soldiers into complete chaos, no one was listening to orders anymore, and some of them even started to run away. Shadowcat was fast approaching me, and I would rather die here than return in disgrace. I turned my horse and met this man's 300 soldiers, with the 600 or so remaining with me.

We were about to clash with this man when flames began to rise behind us, and the barricades were on fire. Flames and rising smoke terrorized my soldiers inside the barricade. They started pushing each other towards the gate, crushing each other to get out of the fire and smoke. This caused my men, who were forming a defensive line, to be pushed, and our line was completely smashed. Just then, Shadowcat shook our bones with an incredible roar.

Most men threw their weapons and started to flee, and suddenly the big cat charged at me, finding a clearing between the soldiers. Within a few meters of me, my loyal soldiers tried to create a thin defense, and I was trying to fight as much as they could, but the Iron Giant and the knight on the shadowcat started to tear this thin line of defense in seconds while their soldiers behind them started to encircle us. The last thing I saw was the approaching knight leaping from his mount towards me and thrusting his sword right into my chest.

POV MC

With the lead of Sith, we were able to penetrate into the enemy line almost all the way to the castle gates. Harlik must be given his due too. With a height of 2 meters and full-plate armor on it, he fell on the enemies like a nightmare. Thanks to my buffs, he plunged into enemies with an endless supply of stamina and almost superhuman strength. Then he even tried to keep up with Sith and pretty much succeeded.

It was an interesting sight for me to see the soldiers following these two fearless monsters and collide with the enemies as if they were protected by a magic shield too. Kegan was a death god too, but he wasn't as effective as those two because he was missing one big key component. He didn't have a fear factor. That is why he didn't have a giant impact like those two. I realized today that soldiers were simple creatures. They would blatantly go to death without fear if they believed their generals were invincible.
