Chapter 53

"Ahh~, a little lower. Yes, don't stop. It feels so good."

Outside of the Leonardo room or Aurora and Lois room. Martha was standing there dumbfounded while her husband trembled in anger. For they listen to what was coming out of the room in the early morning.

"Don't stop, now."

"I need to move a bit." Leonardo's voice replied. "I'm nearly at my limit."

"Please, I am so close to finishing. Just a bit longer." Aurora's voice said.

"Are they?" Jonathan asked as he sat down his glass and prepared to march into the room.

"Jonathan, maybe it is not what it sounds like." Martha tried to stop Jonathan.

"They know the rules, no funny business under my roof!" Jonathan all but kicked open the door.

When the elderly couple stepped into the room, they found Leonardo and Aurora not how they expected too. Both were clothed, though Aurora did have workoutfit on that showed quite a bit of skin, while Leonardo just wore shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt. The two were doing Yoga if the small television displaying a yoga video was to go by.

It was also thanks to that, Aurora foot slipped off the side of the mat and thanks to the slippery tiled floor. Tears nearly came out as she did the splits, while Leonardo tried to back up so she didn't bang against his hard body and ended up caving in the footboard of her bed.

After a few moments to recover, Leonardo was the first to break the silence. "Umm, we can explain."

--

Later, Chloe took the role of showing Lois around school. Which Clark was glad for as was Leonardo for she was very energetic and a handful. Which in Leonardo's opinion, may be perfect for Clark in a few years once they both mature a bit more. Just not right now for she is more likely to send Clark to the insane asylum.

Now after school, Leonardo was sitting in the bleacher watching Clark run try out drills. Somehow, Clark once again got playing football stuck in his head. So Leonardo decided to trust him for the moment since Clark seemed confident in controlling himself. Not to mention it could be what Clark needs, so even if Jonathan is going to be angry. Leonardo will back up Clark, not to mention Jonathan is still on about this morning, so one more reason to be angry won't hurt much.

After a bit of watching, Leonardo pulled out his sketch pad and just began to sketch. Clark will be busy for a while, hence he decided to do something. Thus he began to sketch out what was in his head, before noticing one of the school maintenance workers swapping out a lightbulb. Which reminded him of a book trilogy for some reason. Hence, he swapped out the idea of sketching and began to outline The Rule of Three.

'Who needs to draw a female sorceress at the moment. I got an idea to write.' Leonardo thought as he wrote quickly.

Losing track of time, Leonardo just finished outlining the three books and main and supporting characters when Clark stood before him. Unlike the others who were either sweating or looking winded, he was perfectly fine. So packing his notebook away, Leonardo stood up.

"Well, did you succeed?" Leonardo asked.

"Not sure yet." Clark said. "Said they will call once they decide."

Leonardo just nodded as they walked. "Have you decided how you will tell Jonathan? He was less thrilled last time you joined."

"I'm older and wiser than before. Besides if I can't even do this, then what is all the training at the fortress for?" Clark said.

"Well you're half right." Leonardo sent Clark an amused grin.

--

On the farm, Leonardo was watching Aurora strumming a guitar as she lightly hummed. If she likes how it sounds or thinks it brilliant she will make a few notes on the paper before her. Which he could praise as she is very talented with music and has a voice of an angel.

"If you continue to stare at me, I am afraid I will have a pair of extra holes in my body." Aurora said.

"Well, getting another set of piecing is an option." Leonardo replied with a laugh.

"Which reminds me, how did you cave in my bed?" Aurora changed topics.

"I am pretty strong and hard." Leonardo lightly winked. "If I recall, you called me harder than steel."

Aurora just gave him a look, before a smile crept across her face. "Fine, keep your lousy secret. I will know one day."

"It's not like I am deliberately hiding it." Leonardo shrugged.

"Alright steel man of mystery." Aurora rolled her eyes.

"Well this steel man is about to rust. If only someone would be kind enough to do some maintenance care on him." Leonardo sighed dramatically.

"It's a good thing I didn't pick you for your flirting skills. That is the worst attempt yet I heard to get into my pants from you." Aurora returned the dramatics. "However, I'm sure we can work something out."

"Not under my roof." Jonathan's voice from the door.

Leonardo and Aurora just look at the farmer who was walking in. During which, Leonardo gave the man a light look over and frowned a bit. Since his heart wasn't in the great position and judging by Martha's troubled look as she came in behind him. The doctor's appointment didn't come out that great either.

"Didn't go well?" Leonardo asked.

"He needs surgery if he wants to live longer, but the risk is a bit high for our liking." Martha answered.

"That bad," Aurora asked.

"It could be worse." Martha said.

"Now enough about me, there is work to be done." Jonathan said before looking around. "Err, what needs to be done?"

"Clark has something to tell you and did most of the chores hoping to increase your mood." Leonardo said. "We could make another cask if you really want to do something. I got more information and a few ideas."

"Maybe later." Jonathan waved off the idea. "I am not going to like what Clark has to tell me am I?"

"Probably not, but just support him. It is important to him and clearly he made the choice of changing it from wanting to needing." Leonardo answered. "It's also not about being popular or playing, but to boost his own self confidence and show he can take care of himself."

Jonathan and Martha looked at Leonardo with a pointed look since Aurora was still in the room and it was awfully close to telling Clark's secret. Which he just shrugged as Aurora will know at some point and it is not like she was normal either. One call to her uncle and she will have all the answers if her uncle tells her.

"Alright, and I got an idea of what he did." Jonathan said as he turned to leave.

"Please be safe." Martha said as she followed her husband.

"And with that the pants are rebuckled." Aurora said. "Puppy dog eyes won't work either."

"Fine, I will go watch women on the other side of a screen." Leonardo huffed.

"Great, I will grab the popcorn." Aurora smiled.
