Chapter 5

I hope you like the Chapter. My earbuds broke, and I usually listen to music as I write and do my daily tasks; I am really too lazy to go to the store, so I hope the chapter is any good. If not, leave a comment, and I will do something about it. I am thinking about adding an OC and some different things, so stay tuned for that goodbye for now.

Waking up, it has been a week since the day I tried making a sword, and class has been going smoothly so far, well, except for Rin sleeping every chance he gets, but hey, I am not complaining. I then sense Yukio's soul come into the building. Walking in, I see a stack of papers in his hands. Looking at it, I remember that this was the day Suguro and Rin argued and stuff. Looking up front, I see Rin get his paper and know what is coming.

Suguro: "I couldn't get a two even if I tired," he said, passing Rin.

Rin: "What you say, punk rock reject," he said, grabbing him by the collar.

Oh, did I forget I got moved up? Yeah, I am a table following them, so yeah, their argument is right in front of me.

Yukio: "Kouji, come for your paper, and Rin, sit down you to Ryuji," he said as I stood up to get my test paper.

Looking at it 100% great, I expected, but sometimes these powers get annoying. I can never forget anything, so I have all my memories from this life just hanging around while my past life memories come back every once in a while. Pretty stupid, but what can I do?

Rin: "What do you get, Kouji?" he asked, looking up at me.

Kouji: "Just one hundred percent," I said, going back to my seat.

He looked shocked, as if I told him something unbelievable. He then got an annoyed look on his face and murmured something in his voice. After that, the day goes on, and we have P.E. next period; Rin, Yukio, and Shiemi are sitting at a fountain. They are talking about something, but I am just thinking of a weapon that I want, maybe a scythe that would be cool in my past life. I had dreamed of dancing with it.

Rin: "What are you thinking about Kouji?" he asked me as I looked down to see that Yukio had left.

Kouji: "I'm just thinking about getting myself a weapon like your Katana," I said as the three souls approached us.

Looking over at them as they pass the corner, I see Suguro, Shima, and Miwa. That little head kid annoyed me a lot in the What was it near the end of the first season and a bit of the second season, but I do not have any feelings about him now, so Mmh. 

Suguro: "Hey, stop flirting with your girlfriend. Hmph, You want to be an exorcist," he said with a smirk.

Rin: "Hey, I was talking to Koui, and who is my girlfriend, you fu-," I told him as I stood up. I sense it is a powerful soul looking at us. Looking over, I sense it disappears.

What was happening? I jumped to where the soul was quickly clearing 40 feet in seconds. I hear a surprised gasp from people behind me. Looking down, I saw a weird liquid on the floor. It was clear but stuck as it trailed down the wall of it. I then go back as I do not find anything too exciting, but I put some of the liquid in a bottle that I made with the pen in my pocket.

Rin: "What happened? You surprised me when you just jumped to that roof out of nowhere," he said, looking past me.

Kouji: "Nothing, just sensed a strong soul and wanted to know if they were looking at us as we talked," I said, walking to the P.E. grounds as the bell rang.

Looking down, I see Suguro and Rin racing down in the pit as they get chased by a Reaper from a demon. I then see Suguro cut through and drop kick Rin in the back, and the Reaper is right behind him, ready to eat him when the collar is whipped back as the prof starts scolding them.

Then it's Shiemi and Kamiki's turn, and it goes as you'd expect. Shiemi is not athletic, and it passes really quickly. We then hear a phone go off.

Suguro: "Who's phone is that," he said, annoyed.

Tsubaki: "Oh, that's me, oh, Kitten, He said, answering the phone and then leaving. Suguro fell to the floor in disbelief.

Now that made me laugh in my past life, man; I will, like, bring my past life into this too much. Hmmm ~ this is my new life; I need not forget, but stop comparing then, I guess.

Rin: "So Kouji, what are you up to?" he said as he walked over to me as I sat on the edge of the pit.

Kouji: "Nothing, just waiting for my turn," I said, looking at the frog demon.

Pulling out another pen from my pocket, I turn it into a Yellow Nichirin katana. I want to know if it hurt them like the demon from Demon Slayer. I mean, those "Demons" are more like vampires than anything, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Rin: "Hey, what are you doing," he asked as I jumped near the frog.

Kouji: "I want to try something, "I said, raising the sword.

Swinging it down, I barely cut the frog. It looks scared as it passes out; looking back, I see Rin and Suguro looking confused at what I did, and I sense Yukio's soul looking at me.

Rin: "What were you think? You would have gotten in trouble if you killed it," he said, mad.

Kouji: "It's fine. It did not even work, so we're good," I said, jumping back where I was surprising my classmates again.

Miwa: "How did you jump so far, and how did you make that sword?" he asked meekly.

Should I tell them? I mean, it does not hurt. It's not like it is a secret.

Kouji: "I am A dem-" Kouji, come here right now," I heard Yukio call me from his once hiding place.

Kouji: "Yes, Yukio," I said, walking over to him.

Yukio: "What are you doing? You can't tell anyone you're a demon," he said, upset.

Kouji: "Why is it not like I am trying to hide it?" I said, looking back at them.

Yukio: "You can't, so don't," he said as he walked away.

Now, that confused me. Now, why can't I? Well, that sucks. I guess it's a secret now, boho. Walking back, I tell them I am superhuman, a government experiment, and go on with life. So then the day passes as usual. Before I sleep, I think about the soul that was stalking us and how I should have handled it, but I memorized the soul, so the next time I sense it, I will catch it.

Waking up the following day earlier than Yukio and Rin, I head to morning class. Since it's super early, only a few people are walking around heading to class. Looking inside, I see the teacher writing things down on the board and walking in; I sit down in my seat in the front row, writing down the agenda he wrote to his writing.

Teacher: "I saw you here earlier. My name is Mr. Sukia. Nice to meet you," he said, smiling.

Kouji: "Nice to meet you. My name is Stáli Kouji," I said, copying his smile.

After that, we stayed silent, and I worked on reading the book for this course. I passed as I went to three more classes, and then it was lunchtime. I headed to the stands outside, getting there before anyone; with my inhuman speed, I got a simple lemon bread, and milk, then sat at one of the nearby benches to see the madness unfold as people from all over rushed to the stand to get food after a bit almost everything is gone I see Rin run into the crowd of people and here him and Suguro fight of the last item. I then see Yukio getting ambushed by three girls to give him lunch. He spots Rin and runs away with him. Bored, I went to the library and looked through some books. After a bit, I head to class, and the day ends. Walking into the dorm, I see Rin cooking some food.

Rin: "Hey, I am making lunch for later. Do you want one," he said as I entered.

Kouji: "Nah, I am cool. Goodnight,' I said as I headed to sleep.

Laying in bed, I think of what I read, and most were not that great. I need to find some books about demons, such as Yukio or Mephisto when he cooks for Rin and Yukio tomorrow. Yeah, that is what I will do. I then closed my eyes, ready to wake up tomorrow.
