Chapter 8: Oh! dad

Hey! what happened here? Our new mathematics teacher and class teacher asked no one in particular. He said that while he moved towards Nyx to find the problem and the solution for it. Nyx can you walk? Seyong asked her. Yeah, yeah I guess. As she was trying to get back to her feet, she fell down again. Then they helped her up to her feet to stand.

As she was up on her feet her friend lend her a shoulder support. But as she was standing, the people who beat her up came there again. Hi Nyx! see now we can do anything to you. No one can see us. We can do whatever we like. Really? Nyx questioned them. When she voiced out that word, her friend Seyong looked at her and asked "Nyx are you okay?" It seems Nyx didn't hear anything but little did they know that she was in her own world..... Yes Nyx, we can do everything to you. Dare us if you like. What did I do to you? Why are you doing this to me. "Nyx are you okay." Seyong asked her again. Her teacher trying to find a solution by using a first aid but the position Nyx was in now was beyond first aid.

Oh see who we have asking questions. Nyx, do you have any idea of what I hate? Nyx was quite. If incase you don't know, I hate questions but you keep asking me your stupid questions. It really irritates me. Just answer my question and I will stop asking them. Nyx bargained. Nyx you know something find your answers yourself since they are your questions Eun-Kyung told her. Min was now standing behind watching the show. Really why don't you want to answer my..... (paaw) she gave her a hard head turning slap in the face for the third time. Nyx's already red cheeks were now burning at a very high temperature. The blood that sped from her nose were like the larva from a volcanic eruption. While Seyong looked over her shoulders to see how her friend was looking she saw her head laying on her shoulder so she thought everything was fine. Her teacher was now trying to call her dad to the school. After sometime Nyx raised her head and leaned it on the wall behind her. She must be tired Seyong said looking at her with a sad looking puppy eyes.

Oh! how weak you are Nyx. At this juncture Nyx could only see them blur. Let me go, she said in a weak voice. Let me go, they repeated her words in a mocking way. Nyx seeing you like this make me very exultant. It amazes me to see people like you suffer. Let me go, she repeated. Okay fine. I will let you go. See you again Nyx for more torture. When Nyx fell they all watched her on the floor with unbelievable expressions. Nyx, Nyx, Nyx, Seyong was shaking her to wake her up but she was not waking up. Nyx she out again but again there was no response, Seyong started crying seeing her active friend not moving when she passed her hand in front of her nose to see if she was still breathing, she realized her breath was shaking. Mr. Park please what did her dad say? Seyong asked. The call is not getting through. I will try again. He said with his back facing them. How is she now? Mr. Park asked her but this time turned to look at them. This time the call when through and Mr. Cheng answered it. What happened just now. Due to the shock and panic he left the phone on the floor not knowing what to do. Meanwhile Mr. Cheng was on the phone. He thought someone wanted to prank him but when he was about to end the call he heard something. "Nyx please wake up". Seyong was still crying while hugging her somehow lifeless friend on the floor. "Nyx! Nyx! Seyong please take the phone and call an ambulance". "But Mr. Park her dad will not allow it". "So I guess we should call him." "Okay fine, call him then."

Ring....ring...ring. Mr. Cheng... I'm on my way. Mr. Cheng cut through Mr. Park's words even before he could start. "Okay" Mr. Park answered him and ended the call. "Sir, what should we do now before her dad comes in." Seyong asked Mr. Park. "Seyong, to be frank, I don't know." "What the hell are you trying to tell me." Seyong shouted her teacher in her tears. "See, Seyong, nothing is going to happen to her okay. I know you are scared something will happen to her and you might end up losing your dear friend. But I can assure you nothing will happen to her. I don't think Nyx will just leave you behind like this. She won't allow you to go through pains. I know, the feeling of losing her will unbearable for you. She knows that okay. After saying this she turned back to her friend as if now facing reality. " Nyx, I know you would not be so heartless to leave me alone to roam on this merciless planet. Please stay alive, at least for my sake. Please live for the sake of our friendship. I know you're strong. I can't help you now so please whatever it is that's happening. I can't see but please resist death for my sake, please Nyx for our sake. Nyx if not even me, think of your Dad and your mom, who loves you more than anything else that ever existed. Even if you don't care about them either, please your brother needs you. Nyx please we need you." After saying this she continued crying as if she witnessed her parents being murdered. NYX, her dad shouted as he saw the scene infront of him. At that moment everything began to run slow. It was as if the time has stopped. He really wished it was a dream but it was reality. After a minute of wishing he was watching a movie and imagining the worst. He snapped out of his train of thoughts and faced reality by picking her in his arms and taking her to the hospital. Seeing this, Seyong followed not backing up even though she had to go home because her parents were not aware of the happenings in the school.
