to say the least, this match was better than the anime. The 1 tail within Gaara was enraged, For a whole week it was left in the dark, and now 3 weeks later a chance for blood has appeared. Gaara could be seen talking to himself, while Sasuke watched on, as if looking at a crazy person.

Sasuke improvement in this month was great, his speed and strength matched the likes of Lee, the only person so far to have ever injured Gaara. To make his improvement even more shocking, Sasuke learned the Lightning cutter, although not the one created by Sora, it was impressive.
