Good night

Xi Hua: "Oh shut up. I'm still mad at you. But I'll let you use the bathroom first, cause you stink."

Saying this, Xi Hua walked out of the bedroom and brought all of Chen's stuff in as Yu Chen cleaned the room.

After they were done, Xi Hua sat down and called Huo Zenghai as Yu Chen went to have a nice, relaxing bath. Yu Chen was so tired that she began to doze off in the bathtub and would have done so, if Xi Hua had not begun hammering the door, asking her to come out.

After the bath, Yu Chen changed into one of her signature oversized t-shirts and put on shorts. She then dropped on the bed. Just as she was about to close her eyes, Chen thought of something, picked up her phone, and punched in Si Xia's number.

She hesitated and then decided it was not good to call so late at night. So Chen typed out a message, 'Sleep early. Good night.'

And hit send. She thought that Xia would already be asleep, so she put back her phone on the table. Yu Chen went to sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow and drifted off to dreamland.

In an expensive high profile mansion.....

Si Xia was furious on a video call with his top level executives. He was scolding one of them for the bugs that had been discovered in their new software when his phone dinged.

Si Xia was surprised as to who could message him so late at night, so he picked up his phone to see if it was anything important.

His face broke out into a warm smile as he saw the message, and his expression lost all it's frostiness. The executives were dumbstruck as none of them knew that their boss could smile like that.

Si Xia looked up, the smile had vanished from his face, but his expression was still unbelievably gentle. He said, "That's all for today. We will pick up tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. sharp."

After he cut the call, all that was going through the minds of the executives was, "Who messaged boss? Who?"

Si Xia closed his laptop, took a shower and got into bed. He took out his phone and messaged Chen, "Good night." But Yu Chen was already asleep so she didn't reply.

Si Xia waited for some time before opening the gallery on his phone.

He opened a folder named 'Chi Chi'. Inside the folder were four pics of Chen.

She was reading a book in the first one, typing with concentration in the second, arguing with Hua and Zenghai in the third and the fourth one showed her back as she walked, wearing their shool uniform, hair in a ponytail slightly swaying, her bag slung across her shoulder and hands clasped behind her back.

Si Xia's eyes were filled with deep love as he gazed at the pics for a long time. He murmured slightly, "Good night Chi Chi. Sleep well."

And put away his phone and went to sleep.
