Chapter 16:The Birthday Celebration (1)

Mid terms is coming so am pretty busy...But I'll try to write as frequent as I can! anyways, enjoy~

(3'd person P.O.V)

*Beep!* *Beeep!* .....

As the first ray of the sun shines through the room's curtain, our protagonist Zeke was awoken by the sound of the alarm clock that he had set the night prior.

*Ya~wn* After yawning, he turned off the alarm before looking out the window to find the house caretakers walking, helping, setting up the Birthday venue.

Although, only a few will attend, Zeke's family went all out with the celebration.

Maids, come and go, while carrying some of the food towards the backyard, where the venue is, as planned yesterday.

The food, was of course cooked by his two Aunts and his Grandmother, albeit with some help from the maids.

After gazing a few more seconds outside the window, Zeke stood up before walking towards the bathroom, Yawning once more as he did so.

Once Inside, He locked the Door before entering the Poke-Farm, setting the time inside to be faster than outside, so he would only be gone for a few seconds at most from the outside world.

Once Inside the farm, he took out the Mimic ball which Ditto resides In and opening it, releasing Ditto who, upon getting outside, Yawned as well.

"Good Morning to you Ditto~" he greeted, smiling at his partner.

"Di~tto!"

after their morning greetings, Zeke picked Ditto up from the Room's floor, and afterwards walking towards the Bathroom to take a warm bath.

Some minutes later, the two got out looking refreshed, Ditto, shining with him smiling.

Then afterwards, he opened up his Room's closet, before Taking out 2 outfits to use for this day, one, A super casual clothes that are mostly used Inside the house and the other, a somewhat Formal, but nonetheless Casual outfit.

The first outfit, Consisted of a loose grey T-shirt, paired with black shorts.

While the second one, is a Collared Light Blue T-shirt with pockets in the tight chest, paired with sleek Black jeans.

Zeke wore the first outfit as of now, as he didn't want to get the second outfit Dirty before the party even begin, which will comence at 12pm this afternoon.

After, tidying up the second outfit to be worn this afternoon and Storing it in his Inventory afterwards, walked out of the room before walking towards the balcony, to gaze upon his Berry farm.

Zeke took a big whiff of the Fresh and unpolluted air that was passing by at the balcony and smile.

"Haaah...this place is the best" After saying those words, he got back Inside and walked towards his next stop, the kitchen.

Arriving at the Kitchen, he took out a basket that he bought the day before he arrived at his Grandparents house, Filling it with an Assorted type of berries, the majority being Leppa and Oran, a few Rawst, and some Nanab berries.

After Filling the basket full, he nodded in satisfaction before storing it Inside his Inventory, planning to take it out later after he got out.

Afterwards, he feed Ditto with 2 Leppa berries, which is enough to make Ditto full for the time being before exiting the Poke-farm, though not before setting the time in the Poke-Farm sync with the outside world.

Once he appeared at the bathroom once more, Zeke did not waste any more time and got out with Ditto who already turned into Hedgehog in his shoulder as he did so,and afterwards walked down the stairs towards the kitchen, greeting his Aunt's as he reached, as well as his Grandmother who was just about to be done with the preparations.

"Good morning, Aunt Yuuko!Good morning Grandma!" He greeted the two, before looking towards the Birthday Girl and Greeted "Good Morning Aunt Kyouko! Happy Birthday~!" After greeting her, not forgetting to give her a hug as well, which also lead to his other aunt and grandmother getting hugs as well.

"Where's Arisu and Ryuuko?"he asked, not seeing his two cousins anywhere.

Zeke expecting an answer, was surprised, when instead of an answer, he received a question instead, particularly about the Currently spikey friend that he has In his shoulder.

"Before that, Whos this little friend of yours~?"Aunt Kyouko, asked with a high pitch voice as she reached out to pat Ditto using her Index and Middle finger.

Hearing her question, I remembered that Ditto was on my shoulders, so I looked at Ditto and answered. "Oh him? This is a pet I got from a Pet Store, I decided to get one to Accompany me and this guy, caught my attention" After saying that Zeke patted Ditto's Hedgehog head before continuing.

"He's really smart for a Hedgehog, he's also pretty behaved"He continued, and upon hearing his praise, Ditto in his Hedgehog form alleviated his head up, happy for Zeke's praises.

This In turn made his Aunt Squeal In delight, seeing Ditto's Adorable action.

Meanwhile, his other aunt and grandmother just looked towards him and His aunt's interaction with a smile.

Kyouko, The oldest of the three sisters, are very fond of Animals especially the cute ones, so she can act pretty childish when she sees a cute animal, especially when said Animal is a cute critter like a Hedgehog.

And It's not just the Oldest, Even His mother and other Aunt, the Youngest of the three are Fond of Animals, although they have a Completely Different Taste, The Youngest of the three are fond of Marine Animals, whilst His Mother are Fond of Animals, Like Bears of any Kind as well as Felines and Canines, Be it small like House cats and Dogs, or the Big one's Like Lions/Tigers and Wolves.

Back to the present, after squealing because of Ditto'd Adorable action, Kyouko suddenly asked a very Important question.

"Does this little~ guy have a name ye~t?"She asked, still with a high pitched voice while once again petting Ditto's head.

"Oh, yeah about that, I was planning on naming him after we spend more some time to find a suitable name, but If you want You can recommend some name, and let the little guy decide if he accepts"Zeke replied before looking towards Ditto and asking "Is that fine, bud?"

Ditto's response was one little Nod, which means he accepts.

"There you go! He accepts, now, do you want to name him?"he asked, before spreading his left palms near his right shoulder to let Ditto walk Into it, and once Ditto was on his open palm he put It in the Table where his Aunt Yuuko and Grandmother sat.

After being put Down, Ditto did not misbehave in the slightest and just sat before looking up towards Kyouko awaiting the names she will recommend.

Meanwhile, Kyouko after hearing his words and his subsequent actions of putting Ditto on the table for names she will recommend, smiled at him happily for a moment before shaking her head.

"Thank you sweetie, But I think you should take your time to find a good name for your little friend here, after all, this cute little critter will accompany you, and not me"

Hearing her word's made Zeke, Yuuko, and Grandmother Toki smile.

"Alright then! I'll take my time and find a suitable name for him"Zeke replied.

After hearing his reply his Aunt nodded before saying "As for your question before, Your cousins are accompanying their fathers, to buy something and will be back soon."

Zeke nodded after hearing her words and remembered the reason why he was in the kitchen in the first place.

"Oh yeah! About that, I need to go out for a bit as well! I need to get the things that was delivered in my place from a friend."

"Is it Fuutarou?"His aunt asked, but he shook his head and replied "Nope! Its an another friend of mine"

"Alright then, Just come back before the Celebration okay?"His Grandmother answered this time.

"I will! see you later!"

After leaving those words, he walked out of the house with Ditto back on his right shoulder, gazing at the maids and Helpers going around to set up the small party venue in the Backyard for a moment before Exiting through the gates.

Now, people might wonder the reason for this, well the answer is pretty simple! He can't really just Bring out a Basket full of those miracle berry out of nowhere and explain where he got it dont he?

He wasn't even carrying a basket last night when he arrived so of course they would get suspicious, so this is the solution! Pretend to get it from a delivery at his Condo! Especially since its only a few minutes Drive from his grandparents place.

So, after a few minutes riding a buss, he arrived at the bus stop, near the Octagon Building where his Condo was, and front of the Convenience store he went with Ditto before.

As, the Bus stopped on the Bus stop(lol) Zeke stood up from his seat and prepeared to go down, but when he got down, he wasn't alone, along with him, was a girl with an emotionless looking girl with medium-length red-brown hair that has strands of hair hanging over the right side of her face.

One thing to mention is that she has a set of blue wireless headphones that has a Triangle-shaped logo in the ear cups.

He noticed that he wasn't the only one that got down, but Ignored it anyways as It wasn't that strange, considering its a public bus and all that.

so he just minded his own business and walked towards the convenience store in front, to buy a cold matcha tea.

Still, as he walked he couldn't help but notice that the person that got down from the bus with him was also following him, but he once again ignored it, as maybe they were just hungry or thirsty just like him.

So he continued in his own way, entering the convenience store and nodding to the greeting cashier before walking straight through the Refrigerator where they Keep the Cold drinks.

While the girl, who was walking behind him following, looking at him,or more specifically at the Hedgehog Ditto perched upon Zeke's shoulder.

Meanwhile, Zeke's curiosity won him over, so he turned around, and looked towards the person who has been following behind him since he got down from the bus .

The first thing he saw was her blue eyes, gazing at his shoulder, and then her Red-Brown hair, and that part of her bangs that party cover's her right eye.

The girl, Upon realizing that she was caught staring, hurriedly pretended that she wasn't, and walked passed by him, before picking up a matcha tea despite her red face before hurriedly walking towards the cashier to pay and hurriedly got out.

Zeke was stunned, both by her actions and appearance, since he still remembered his encounter with the two Sisters yesterday.

"That, was most likely one of Ichika's Sister wasn't it?"I asked Ditto who was on my shoulder which Nodded upon hearing my question.

"Anyways, Do you want to eat as well?"I asked Ditto which shook his head, declining the offer.

"Alright then! Lets just buy this Matcha tea because Im quite thirsty"I said before taking out one of the can's containing matcha tea, and walked towards the cashier, and after paying got out before walking towards the Octagon Building.

afterwards, Zeke input the code of his condo which made the gate open and greeted the usual guard at the building, and walked towards the Elevator, Not seeing anyone, he boarded the one that wasn't in use before pressing the Button that leads towards the Top floor, just underneath my condo.

*Ding*

*Ding*

Upon, arriving at the top floor accessible with the elevator, Zeke was met with a surprise when the Used elevator besides also opened and the girl that he just met in the convenience store just now disembarked from it.

And the girl, Upon noticing the person before was stunned as well, The two just stared at each other as both elevator closed and went down.

"Uh...Hello again?"He greeted, Initiating a conversation, hoping to break the awkward state they were on.

The girl, stopped for a moment as she heard Zeke's greetings before nodding her eyes landing on Ditto for a second, without saying anything and afterwards walked towards one of the two door of this floor and opened it before closing it after she entered.

"Well, that was... Awkward"I muttered, Ditto nodded confirming his thoughts.

After that little episode, Zeke walked towards the stairs that leads to the Rooftop, the place his condo and home resides.

A small part of it was opened to the public, but there was a gate separating the public space and the Private one, solely belonging to him.

As Zeke reached the rooftop, He stopped for a moment, enjoying the view of the City and the Cold breeze passing by.

"Haaa.... The view is stunning as always"He mutters before continuing his walk towards his home, passing by the Mini Garden and and afterwards opening the Door.

"Hum~ Now then, I guess I should buy Aunt Kyouko's Gift!"He said cheerily before Opening the Poke-Mall of his system and buying a rare Mystery Egg, as well as an Incubator for it.

Why? Well, he decided after mulling it through to get his aunt a pokemon while he was riding the Bus.

And at first, he wanted to buy her a specific pokemon egg directly, but promptly decided to forget it for one reason only, that Being that its more expensive getting a good rare pokemon than getting a Rare Mystery egg.

and He currently only have a meager 1100 points, Minus the egg that costs 100 SP and the Incubator that costs another 100 SP so currently his points total to 900SP

The Incubator Looks like a capsule like Gadget that's transparent Except for the Bottom and top part.

and as for the egg, Its just a big pure-white egg, kinda like a chicken egg, but The size of a person's head.

Using appraisal, The information of the egg was revealed for me.

Info:A mysterious egg bought from the system shop, the origin's are a mystery but it does emit a tiny bit of electricity.

"Jackpot!"Zeke exclaimed after reading the Info of the egg, as most Electric types are either rare or has great potential!

Heck! even the protagonist of the Pokemon show Ash or Satoshi in Japanese has an electric type Pokemon, the most iconic pokemon of them all, Pikachu!

and its not just Ash! Red, Aka one of the greatest trainer there ever was also has a Pikachu as his ace!

Plus! the Pichu line is cute! Which Im sure will appeal to his aunt that likes any cute critters!

There are other Notable electric Pokemon too! from their looks and their strength!

two of them being Emolga, a Unovan Pokemon which is super cute, and the second one, the Mareep line which is both Cute and also strong! especially the last evolution Ampharos that can also mega evolve into a Dragon/Electric pokemon!

In conclusion! The Electric type Pokemon egg will fit perfectly for Aunt Kyouko!
