Prologue - Part 2

Being reborn as Kamijou Touma in the world of crossovers anime was something Saotome Ranma had not expected at all. His former life in the previous world couldn't be called a peaceful life, but at least the level of danger in his previous world wasn't that high.

But since he was currently born as Kamijou Touma, Ranma knew that his future life as 'Touma' would be much more chaotic than his previous life.

Because Kamijou Touma is a character who has a fate that is arguably far more unlucky and chaotic than himself. And now that he has to become the main character of one of his favorite anime, in his second life, Ranma is confused as to why he has to be reincarnated into someone who has bad luck like Touma, as if the chaos that kept haunting his life in the past was a curse that can never be removed from his life wherever he is.

'That damn old geezer Zelretch sent me into a jumbled anime world to become one of the anime characters with the worst fate! Sigh! I don't know how messed up my future will be!' Baby Ranma or rather baby Touma, who was lying wrapped in a cloth on the crib in his parents' room was thinking hard, what he should do in the future. If he was reincarnated right in the world of Toaru Majutsu no Index, Ranma could at least use the knowledge he had about the anime to deal with all the problems he faced as Kamijou Touma.

But now that he is in the anime world that are mixed with another anime, Ranma is not sure that the knowledge he have about the Toaru Majutsu anime will be useful to solve the problems that are sure to come to haunt him in the future.

'Sigh this new life I have to live is really making me feel depressed! But at least when compared to the real Touma, I'm far superior because I know how to strengthen my body using martial arts, so if a problem arises in front of me I already have the power to deal with it!'

"Reincarnated as one of the most unlucky characters in the anime world, your fate really remains chaotic even after you are reborn in a new world Saotome Ranma's," Zelretch said who appeared in a semi-transparent form, hovering above Ranma's cloth-wrapped body.

'Geezer!' Ranma shouted loudly in his heart, right after he saw Zelretch who appeared in a form similar to a ghost. 'Why did I must to reincarnate into a character who had more bad luck than myself! Do you know I almost had a heart attack right after I was reborn, when I heard my name being spoken by my new parents!'

(Zelretch uses telepathy so he can know what Ranma is saying in his heart, because Ranma still can't speak)

"Am I already told you, that you will be reincarnated randomly in the anime crossover world. So how can I know if you will be reincarnated as Kamijou Touma," Zelretch felt a little sorry for Ranma's fate but Ranma reincarnation is random so he can do anything about it. "I came to this place, to meet you. Because I haven't given you the cheats you need to help you in your new life. It seems I came at the perfect time."

'Cheats? You mean like the reincarnators or a traversers who are reincarnated or summoned to another world and get cheats that make them strong?' Asked Ranma.

"Well, that's how it is," Replied Zelretch. "But whatever cheats you'll get later, I hope you don't protest to me, because the cheats you get are also will random."

'Haaaaah random again,' Ranma felt a bit disappointed because he couldn't know what kind of cheat he would get. But he is grateful because at least he will get a little help in his new life, Ranma only hopes that the cheat he gets is a good cheat even though it is not overpowered. 'But well, it's better to get one random cheat than nothing at all.'

"Well, at least you didn't protest when you found out you were going to randomly get cheats."

Finished speaking, Zelretch brought up a card with a question mark and the card shot into the baby Ranma/Touma's body.

Ranma could feel that something unique appeared in his body, when the skill card entered his body. And thanks to his instincts, Ranma could immediately feel that the skill that appeared on his body was not an ordinary skill, but a very powerful skill!

'My feelings and instincts tell me that the skills I got are not a weak skills! I hope my instincts aren't wrong at all! Because if I get a bad skill, that means my bad luck as Kamijou Touma has really begun.'

"Once the skill card enters your body, it will take a few minutes for your body to assimilate with whatever power you can get," Zelretch said. "Only then can I find out what kind of skill you got from the card."

After waiting for a few minutes, Zelretch finally started a scan of Ranma's body using his magic to find out what kind of power Ranma would get from the Random skill card he gave to Ranma.

And how shocked Zelretch was when he found out what skills Ranma had acquired. Because apart from being rare, the skills obtained by Ranma can be said to be a little overpowered.

"A much better version of Peter Petrelli's Empathy Mimicry, because it can be used to imitate not only esper or mutant powers but almost all kinds of powers except for a few. This time you are really lucky Saotome Ranma."

'The power to imitate, the power of others person? Hmm thank goodness I got pretty good power! As a martial arts expert I actually feel bad getting skills to imitate other people's strengths,' Ranma said. 'But since I have to live my second life as Kamijou Touma, copycat powers will come in handy!'

"Your Empathy Mimicry will help you learn to control the Imagine Breaker that used to seal the invisible thing, and the eight dragons in your right hand much better. Plus the Empathy Mimicry can't be denied by Imagine Breaker because the Empathy Mimicry in your body is came from a higher dimension. That's why Imagine Breaker won't be able to resist or eliminate Empathy Mimicry and all the powers you imitate using Empathy Mimicry," Zelretch said.

'Hmm if I can control Imagine Breaker does that mean I won't be unlucky?' Asked Ranma.

"I think Imagine Breaker wasn't the reason Kamijou Touma was unlucky, but the negative energy that I feel emanating from the astral being sealed in Kamijou Touma's right hand that caused Kamijou Touma to be unlucky," Zelretch replied. "If Imagine Breaker didn't exist, Kamijou Touma would have died the moment he was born. Since there wasn't a seal to prevent the astral beings from running amok, but because some negative energy was still able to escape from Kamijou Touma's right arm. That's why he's unlucky, a luck and blessing from God for human is something natural so even the Imagine Breaker can neutralize it, and Saotome Ranma if you can control the Imagine Breaker, I guarantee that you won't be unlucky."

Hearing Zelretch's explanation, Ranma was relieved. Because at least he could avoid Touma's bad luck even if only a little.

'Last question before you go old geezer, why did you come in the form of a ghost like that! And not in physical form?'

"My body can't leave the house where I live due to some obstacles, that's why I sent half of my spirit to this place. So that I can meet you," Zelretch said who started to disappear from Ranma's new parents' room because his ghost form looks more and more transparent.

"My time in this dimension is almost over, before I disappear completely I will give you the curse you received in Jusenkyou, as a parting gift, but this time you can control the curse and cold and hot water will no longer trigger your transformation and not even Imagine Breaker can destroy it, because that curse can be considered as part of your biological function."

Ranma actually wanted to tell Zelretch that he didn't need his old gender bender curse in the new world. But before he could speak, a ball of light had entered Ranma's body and suddenly Zelretch had completely disappeared from the room where Ranma was lying.

'Damn you Zelretch!' Ranma shouted. 'Why are you even giving me that fucking curse when I don't need it!'

In the dimensional gap where Zelretch lived, Zelretch laughed out loud when he imagined what Ranma would experience if he used the curse that he gave Ranma as a prank. Ranma was indeed able to control the curse, but Zelretch had already made sure that Ranma would undergo a random female transformation when he was a teenager as Kamijou Touma. Although that random transformation effect can be removed in an instant using Imagine Breaker.
