A Beverly Hills love

"What are you doing here?" Marcella asked Ambrose, her voice laced with a mix of surprise and curiosity. Ambrose's eyes, brimming with tears, locked onto hers as he replied, "I have searched for you everywhere, my love. Why have you decided to leave? I want you, Marcella, I need you." His whispered words were laced with desperation, his voice cracking with emotion. As he drew closer, his hands grasped hers, placing them on his chest. "My heart beats solely for you, Marcella. I'm a shell of myself without you. Sleep eludes me, and my every waking moment is consumed by thoughts of you." The silence was palpable, the only sound being Marcella's rapid heartbeat. Ambrose's fingers traced the strands of her dark, curly hair, his touch sending shivers down her spine. He leaned in, his face inches from hers, their breaths intertwining. The tension was palpable, the air thick with anticipation, as if time itself had stood still. Marcella's heart raced faster, her senses heightened, as she felt the warmth of Ambrose's breath on her skin, her very existence hanging in the balance.

After the call, Marcella joined Beatrice for breakfast, determined to make the most of her day off. They spent the morning gossiping and laughing, taking a stroll in the evening. But as bedtime approached, Marcella's worries resurfaced. "What's the worst that can happen?" she thought to herself, trying to calm her nerves. "Cheer up, Marcella. It's going to be okay."

Meanwhile, Ambrose was in his room, regaling his friends with stories of his conversation with Marcella. They all burst out laughing at his antics. The next day, Sunday, Ambrose was already looking forward to his trip to Dubai, hoping his new fashion company would be a hit. Little did Marcella know, their adventure was only just beginning…

"Hey, sister! Good morning!" Beatrice chimed, entering Marcella's room with a concerned expression. "You all set to go?"

Marcella smiled reassuringly. "Yeah, I'm good. Don't worry about me, Beatrice. I'll be just fine."

Beatrice's eyes lingered on Marcella's face, her brow furrowed with worry. "You sure? You're not, well... nervous or anything?"

Marcella chuckled. "A little, maybe. But I'll be okay. Hey, do you think I need some fancy clothes for this trip?"

Beatrice's eyes lit up. "Oh, girl! I've got just the thing!" She dashed into her own room and returned with a handful of stylish outfits. "Pick your favorite!"

Marcella's eyes widened as she took in the revealing clothes. "Uh, Beatrice... these are a bit... much, don't you think?"

Beatrice giggled. "Oh, right! Sorry about that. I forgot we're trying to avoid drawing Ambrose's attention to you."

Marcella laughed. "Yeah, let's just stick with my own clothes, thanks!"

As Marcella headed out the door, Beatrice called out, "Good luck, sis! You got this!"

Marcella trudged to her room, her mind preoccupied with the daunting task of preparing for the upcoming trip. As she began to arrange her belongings, a knock at the door broke the silence. "Oh, Rosella! What brings you here?" Marcella asked, her curiosity piqued. "I wasn't expecting anyone to drop by. Is everything okay?

Rosella's expression was laced with concern. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just wanted to check in on you, Marcella. You've seemed a bit... off since you started working here today.hope Everything is fine,Rosella's expression was laced with concern. "Marcella, I wanted to talk to you about Mr. Ambrose. I know he can come across as charming and friendly, but I want to warn you, he has a reputation for womanizing... outside of the household, that is. He doesn't seem to be interested in his maids, thankfully, but I just want to make sure you're aware of his behavior."

Marcella's eyes narrowed slightly, her interest piqued. "What do you mean? He doesn't try anything with the maids?"

Rosella shook her head. "No, thankfully,

"I can tell you've been feeling anxious and apprehensive about this entire journey, and I completely understand. It's normal to feel a bit overwhelmed when venturing into the unknown. But please, don't worry, you're going to be absolutely fine!. He seems to keep his personal life separate from his professional one.

Marcella's face reflected her understanding. "Thanks for the advice , Rosella. I appreciate it.  The door closed behind her with a soft click, leaving Marcella to process the conversation and the emotions that lingered in the wake of Rosella's departure.

At work, Marcella's nerves began to flutter as she heard James's voice over the intercom. "Marcella, Mr. Ambrose wants to see you right away."

Her heart skipped a beat as she made her way to Ambrose's office. She knocked on the door, and his deep voice bid her enter.

"Ah, Marcella. Good morning. We'll be taking my private jet to Dubai. It's going to be a comfortable ride, I promise."

Marcella's eyes widened as she took in the luxurious details of the jet. This was going to be a trip like no other.

Tuesday morning finally arrived, and Marcella's departure was imminent. With a steady voice and a composed face, she greeted Ambrose, "Good morning, sir." Ambrose returned the greeting, his eyes scrutinizing her expression. "Good morning, Marcella." As they prepared to leave for the airport, Marcella strategically chose a seat at the back of the car, positioning herself closest to the door. Ambrose attempted to initiate conversation, but Marcella's responses were curt and distant. Her nervous energy was palpable, and Ambrose couldn't help but notice. "Hey, Marcella, relax. Everything will be fine," he assured her, his tone softer than usual. But Marcella's tension remained, her eyes fixed on the road . The car ride was filled with an uncomfortable silence, the only sound being the hum of the engine and the occasional cough from Ambrose. Marcella's unease was palpable, and Ambrose's attempts at reassurance only seemed to heighten her anxiety.

As they arrived at the airport, Marcella's eyes widened in awe as she caught sight of Ambrose's luxurious private jet, its sleek design and opulent features a testament to his wealth and status. They boarded the plane, and Marcella was immediately struck by the lavish interior, complete with plush seats and exquisite decor. As they settled in, they were offered a selection of fine wines and gourmet cuisine, which Marcella savored, feeling a sense of indulgence and pampering. As she finished her meal, she began to feel a sense of relaxation wash over her, the stress and tension of the past few days slowly melting away. Before she knew it, her eyelids grew heavy, and she drifted off to sleep, lulled by the hum of the engines and the soft murmur of conversation in the background. When she awoke, she was disoriented for a moment, but as she looked around, she realized that they had already landed at Dubai Airport, the bustling hub of activity a stark contrast to the peaceful slumber she had just enjoyed.

As they stepped off the plane , Marcella's eyes widened in awe. "Wow, this city is incredible!" she exclaimed, gazing up at the glittering skyscrapers and majestic architecture. The bright lights and bustling energy of the city were truly mesmerizing. A driver greeted them with a warm smile and gestured to the sleek black car that would take them to their destination. But Ambrose had other plans. "Actually, I need to pick up a new pair of shoes for our meeting tomorrow," he said, his eyes scanning the nearby shops. "Why don't we make a quick detour to the mall before heading to our apartment ?" Marcella nodded enthusiastically, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Okay, sir! As they made their way to the mall, Marcella couldn't help but gawk at the stunning buildings and ornate fountains. Her amazement was written all over her face, and Ambrose chuckled good-naturedly. "Glad you're enjoying the view, Marcella. This city never fails to impress!"

As they strolled through the mall, Ambrose turned to Marcella with a generous smile. "Marcella, I want you to treat yourself to some beautiful gowns and shoes. Pick out whatever you like, don't worry about the cost."

Marcella's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, sir , you don't have to do that! I couldn't possibly..."

Ambrose waved his hand dismissively. "I insist, Marcella. Go on, pick out some lovely things."

Marcella hesitated for a moment, then nodded and began browsing through the racks. She selected a stunning blue gown, along with a few other designs in different colors. She also picked out two pairs of shoes, which she showed to Ambrose. "Thank you so much, sir. I've picked out these ones."

Ambrose raised an eyebrow. "Are these the only ones you've picked, Marcella? Go and take some more gowns. You can never have too many beautiful clothes!"

Marcella laughed. "No, sir, thank you. I'm okay with these. Really, it's too much already."

Ambrose chuckled. "Okay, no problem. After they finished shopping, they made their way to the apartment  Ambrose had booked.

As they finally finished their shopping spree, Marcella couldn't help but feel exhausted, her voice laced with fatigue. "I can't wait to get to the apartment and put my feet up."she thought to herself

"You can sleep in the other room, Marcella. You must be exhausted from all the shopping we did today."he said.

Marcella nodded gratefully. "Thank you so much, sir. And thank you again for all the beautiful clothes. You're too kind."

Ambrose waved his hand dismissively. "It was my pleasure, Marcella. Now, would you please call the kitchen to ask what they have prepared for dinner?"

Marcella pulled out the phone from the apartment and made the call, and the person on the other end assured her that they were working on it. A short while later, a team of staff arrived at the apartment, bearing a veritable feast that could easily feed three people. Marcella's eyes widened in surprise. "Is this...is this all for us?" she asked, incredulous.

The staff nodded, "Yes, Mr. Ambrose ordered all of this for you both."

Marcella's eyes turned to Ambrose, who was smiling at her. "Serve yourself, Marcella, and don't forget to serve me too," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Marcella couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the opulence and generosity of her host. She served herself a modest portion, still trying to wrap her head around the sheer extravagance of it all.

As Marcella continued to serve herself and Ambrose , she couldn't help but ponder the unexpected kindness of Mr. Ambrose. "On second thought, I'm surprised by how different he is," she thought to herself. "He's been so generous and considerate towards me,But surely, he doesn't think I'll just fall into his arms because of his wealth and charm? I may be a maid, but I have my dignity and boundaries."

Just then, she recalled Rosella's words of reassurance: "Mr. Ambrose may have a reputation for being a ladies' man, but he's never been inappropriate with his maids. He respects them and treats them with kindness." Marcella felt a wave of relief wash over her. "Ah, yes, that's true," she thought. "Rosella would know better than anyone. " With that thought, she continued to serve herself, feeling more at ease in Mr. Ambrose's presence.
