Chapter Thirteen

This wasn't supposed to happen! I was supposed to get involved with my employers sibling this had to be breaking some kind of rule in the How to be a good Nanny book.

I had successfully avoided Mason for about a day, I know it's not a lot but it just meant that Sunday was a girls day only, me and Summer and that was all the people I was allowing to enter the bubble, I did get a message from Jasmine asking how my 1st week had gone, usually the weeks go so fast when you are enjoying yourself so to know I had finished my first full week meant I wasn't enjoying myself one bit.

I also had a chat to Thor while I pushed Summer on the swing set on Sunday, he obviously wanted to know all the goss but as always I wasn't telling him a peep, I mean he would flip out if he knew what had happened between Mason and I, it would complicate everything and he would then feel the need to do so much, like invite him round for an occasion like christmas or Easter then there is New Years, I really don't see us being a thing all I see if Mason and I being both respectfully single and having no other form of contact with the other gender in a non plantonic way, we see each other everyday it's bound to happen.

"So you are sure you are okay to pick Summer up this afternoon and bring her back here while I run out and do some errands?" I asked Mason as we were sitting either side of the Island preparing the rest of the week while Summer was in school.

I kept my eyes on my phone which was open to my calendar so I could see when Mason was free and where he would be if he wasn't but had some time to spare between work, if that makes sense.

"Yeah that's fine, you know you can talk to me and not the phone I've heard it's better" he said as I slowly looked up from my phone to see his confused expression written on his face, I smiled a small smile at him and nodded " I know I am just focusing on you know getting the calendar accurate" I said as I looked back down at my phone again, ''And you are joining me shopping on Wednesday, you don't have to as Summer is obviously at school and I'll just be getting a few bits for myself, I can always just catch the bus" I said as I looked up again and we held eye contact for a while "no it's all good it's quicker by car and anyway I am not doing anything" he said as I shrugged.

I did need to run any errands, when I meant errands I meant this was the only day that Thor had off and I wanted to catch him up on everything, and when I mean I want to catch him up and everything I mean he threatened me to tell him everything.

"So tell me everything and don't leave a SINGLE thing out, I mean a SINGLE thing out!" He said as we sat down on his bed criss crossed facing each other, I had forgotten what the house felt like living in it, I know it had only been just over a week since being away but it felt like I hadn't been home in years, his room I was never a reoccurring visitor in for obvious reasons but I knew what it looked like roughly.

"There isn't much to say to be honest, we've been to a photoshoot an interview and meandmasonkissedondrunknight and that was it I've been hanging out with Summer and doing normal Nanny stuff" I said speeding through the event that I never wanted to tell him in the first place. There was a mutual silence for a few minutes while he processed everything I said and then the lightbulb went off above his head.

"YOU KISSED HIM!!!" he practically screamed, but one of those masculine screams where they've just seen their team score for the first time in a match, I jumped out of my skin at the scream he was literally right next to me not in 5 steps away, we were literally in the same room! and here he was screaming as if I was near mont Everest.

"Repeat that for me, I want to hear you admit it without trying to cover it up" he said as I rolled my eyes and sighed "It wasn't planned and it wasn't as if I knew it was going to happen, he kissed me when we were celebrating the week and everything and well it happened, and he heard us talking and the morning after and he kissed me again after that call" I said as his jaw dropped to the fall and the back to his face.

"You are telling me he kissed you before the call with me and you DIDN'T TELL ME! who are you? also if he kissed you again when you were both sober why the hell are we not like dating zed football player! he is literally my favourite player, we would get to have Christmas together and Easter! IMAGINE!!" He said as I mentally cursed myself for telling him.

"This is why I don't tell you about guys, you start planning our wedding it's in your DNA to overthink things that belong in the future and not the present" I said as he chuckled and nodded his head "I agree with that but still I needed to be informed, I could have told you that maybe you should go for it, regardless of if he is my favourite player you are my best friend and deserve the love and all that jazz" he said as he punched my arm and we smiled at each other.

"I already told him I have no chance with him at all, I am a nanny and he is a Footballer, it's impossible" I admitted as Thor face placed himself and shook his head.

"Gimme your phone and there is no if buts or maybes pass it over you self sabotager" he demanded my phone which I handed over unlocked and he smiled down at the device and within minutes was typing away as fast as lightening. This can not be good for me.
