Finished with her delivery mission, Amanda returned to District 36 after staying at the inn near the docks for a day while her car was repaired. During her stay, James offered Amanda a small job.

"There are very few agents I've ever sent out here, plus the ad I posted was actually to find someone with special skills who could do this job again," James said.

"Since you happen to be here and I know how you are, you're the perfect person to take on this responsibility, Amanda. How about you come back to work for me, but only when I need you this time?" he continued to ask.

"What kind of job do you need?" Amanda asked in surprise.

James explained that he might need someone to check on the scientists at Quespion. He can't always go there because it's too far from the headquarters in Zondalia. Plus, security is at stake. That's why he wanted Amanda to occasionally check on their work as a representative of the organization.
