Ow! So touching and I almost cried! The father I don't thinks so...

I've seen a few of y'all comments about Hogg. All I'll say is that he's still a good parent, however strict he may be. I come from a strict household, the relationship between the MC and his father is one of understanding. That's what matters to me, they both love and understand themselves. Y'all who are complaining, y'all need to take a chill pill. Damn. Humans never cease to act out.

I thought the father was nice in my opinion he seems like he loves his kids and the town a lot. He is really strict cause he cares for his kids and now that he is treating the mc has the pillar of the family as it said before he is stressing the point that he cannot forget or slack off on restoring the family’s honor by getting that family heirloom back. Plus he pays him on the back and tells him he believes in him right after the threat of not forgiving him so it is just another of those strict moments that may sound harsh but both know the other cares. Also a different world and culture so it really fits so considering that the dad is actually a really nice guy considering that more strict or harsh parents could be normal for noble families especially. Bebe is too cute though never thought I would like a rat so much in a story so that is interesting.
