Everyone has fear. In a battle situation where life and death situations are prevalent and could be millimeters away from either. Courage is the strength to move despite the fear. Your brothers around you and your own desire to live propels you forward. Heâs just suffering from PTS. Heâll be stronger for the experience if/when he returns. The scary part is when you crave and even become dependent of the adrenaline that rushes through your body in life and death situations. Once that happens, the normal pace of society is very difficult to adjust back to. Hyper vigilance is very taxing on the body.
