I think there aren't actually 1600+ people. Dlzs are the ones running oasis, and the heat pills are actually ability stopping pills. If too many ability users were in oasis they could possibly be stopped, so they send them to the slaughter of their lackies in the other town. Dlzs are running a slaughter house, it's an all you can eat buffet, and all they have to provide is food and shelter. The humans do all the jobs, and take care if the other humans while the Dlzs get food and free labor.

i almost want to drop this **** after seeing that she has 5 things stored in her deck... she can store 8 things a day. she's had months. wandering around empty cities of the post apocalypse. there's stupid and then there's the next level above that which is whatever I just read in this chapter

Last chapter, Marcie was dumb. This chapter, MC incites mass panic and dont expect fatalities? The dumb actions are just too unbelievable. And MC always invoke her abilities a little too late? Storyline is interesting but far too many loopholes.
