I don't really think that's true. Xu Ling doesn't really have enemies. Most of MCs enemies are formed from hunting demons/anomalies/Longevity Sect people in order to gather Yin energy, which he wouldn't need to do if he just got rid of the pearl. The Ji family have a vague connection to him, but not to the point that they would pursue him if he disappeared. Lu Yingxuan is the only one who really has dangerous enemies, but it's not a problem he couldn't avoid or eliminate if he were smart about it. ...it just seems incredibly dumb that he has a lifespan of thousands of years but there is a never simulation where he lives more than a century.
It's the CSI "Enhance!" meme but in text format.
Is it really so mysterious? In a confrontation between a police officer and a criminal holding a hostage, I feel like a good 90% of people would probably help the police officer. Even people who usually don't like "authority" or "the state" or whatever, would probably side with a cop over a robber, right?
What a convenient setting. Almost as if the author wants to make sure she's still a virgin when MC gets his hands on her.
???? Why though? You're only Qi Rank 2 - the very bottom of the barrel. Why not just use your system to get stronger instead of blindly rushing into danger for no reason?
Is that really considered "lucky"? Even if you live in a society that favors men over women, a 20:1 ratio is bit much, right?
Yeah, a normal human wouldn't be able to just stare at the wall of a cave all day for years on end without going insane, so this makes sense.
Same. I kind of expected it from the synopsis but... oh well, I guess.
Little sunlight doesn't equal zero sunlight. If there was zero sunlight, no one on Earth would survive no matter how deep they dug their bunkers. Of course, solar would be less efficient in this world, but my point was that MC has other options.
So because there are some murders in a population of tens or hundreds of millions of people, they should all die?
Maybe I don't, but our MC does. He has literal superpowers and a bunker with enough resources to last until the next ice age.
Is this guy never gonna wake up? MC is completely treating him as a spirit stone, but supposedly he's only sleeping because of the dragon blood being too powerful... so with MC draining all the dragon blood away, shouldn't he wake up?
It's actually a huge plothole that he keeps dying so young. Clearly, "simulation him" knows what he knows before going into the simulation, so there's no reason he wouldn't just throw away the Yin Bead and instead leverage his 3000+ years of life to cultivate instead. Holding onto one random treasure that isn't even all that valuable to him isn't worth dying with 99% of his lifespan still left to live.
Guys, the system only takes gold but silver is the more common form of currency. That's why MC is talking about it in units of silver.
He's higher level than MC now
Imagine what would have happened if, instead of talking to him, you had just shot him...
So this is why he waited for them out in the open instead of posting up in the woods somewhere with his rifle? So he could monologue like a third rate villain for a while?
So he's really just... punching? Am I the only one massively disappointed here? Why is the big upgrade from his magical weapons system actually a huge downgrade from a gun to a pair of boxing gloves? Is he the Frying Pan player in PUBG?
If this were true he could have used a taser, or rubber bullets, or tear gas, or a bean bag gun, or any number of non-lethal munitions used by modern police forces. I would have preferred if he just opened up on them with his rifle from cover without saying a single word instead of this hypocritical "I didn't want to kill you, but you forced me" BS - as if anyone with a single brain cell in their skull couldn't predict the outcome of jumping out and saying a bunch of harsh words to a man who is mid-r*pe.
I'm glad the author knew everyone who clicked this book about fighting with high-tech weaponry actually secretly wanted to read about fist fights.
