If this actually happens and isn't resolved by the sword spirit im dropping this book instantly. These past 40 chapters have been below trash quality the writing of them has been terrible and to seriously try to make a harem out of a novel that at its CORE is the MC wanting to be strong for the one he LOVES! Theres no need for harem in this seriously im gonna be sooooo pissed off.
This setup is so fucking forced. Feels fake as **** and really uninteresting. I'm not remotely interested in tie bu tien's character and nor am I interesting in wu qian qian's character. They feel like side characters and there is literally nothing interesting about them nor did the MC develop any meaningful relationship with them. Forced as **** fake ****.
First still shocked how long it takes people to find out the emperor is a female as it was confirmed hundreds of chapters ago. Now why this is super forced. First the mc is intelligent but not dense towards females as it has shown he can tell how Qianqian likes him yet he couldnât figure out the prince was a princessđ He has had several clues that shows it like how he found out there is no daughter of the king alive but he makes an excuse that it is hidden which could work but we have seen how he can see things from the tiniest of details just not this. There is so many places that it reveals it to him but then he turns into a dense mc for that moment yet never with other girls. Second the chances of a spirit beast popping up that is made up of aphrodisiac and this one time he doesnât actually show up to take advantage of a situation and also couldnât dodge or use his sword to absorb the poison is extremely low to non existent. Also how has his sword spirit not said anything about it when it found out it was lust dragons. Third having the emperor come instead of Qianqian makes no sense as the emperor is too important and the king of hell has plenty of authority to command troops so that excuse was bs. Also emperor literally loves the mc out of nowhere awhile back just because he helps out yet Qianqian who has more reasons which isnât many to love the mc isnât the one picked to be with him here. So the emperor coming instead of Qianqian, aphrodisiac spirit beast showing up, situation where he canât avoid aphrodisiac leads to a very forced situation of I am guessing the emperor will have an heir to the throne without the mc knowing by the sounds of it like seriously this whole situation is one of the most forced things I have read. Also finally shows the reason why it was having the mc be clueless about the emperor being a female so it can pull of this stuntđ This really makes me want to drop it but I just want to get to middle heavens already where interesting stuff is happening but kinda of turned off from the novel right now. Will continue to get to the better parts but had to get this off my chest cause this was just bad on how it led up to this situation and everything in my opinion.
Also the shadows make zero sense. They donât say sh*t when she leaves on a dangerous mission to save the Chu Yang yet now he is disposable. Her losing her power or virginity doesnât make sense on the new attitude as this journey could kill her which is worse unless we are to believe they are that full of themselves that they can protect her if an army ambushed them or the other king level expert that they would have to face in order to save the mc. Actually knowing how dumb they act they probably did think this was a safe journey with them there so my bad.
