So which is it? 'Zhang Yang' or 'Zheng Yang'? Most readers already find it hard to remember chinese names, but you make it even worse.

[Time goes to the end of a sentence, i think.] The number of the students they have, the pace of their improvement ~> The number of the students they had, the pace of their improvement [The rest of the chapter is past tense, so this should be too.] and his heart beats, âge deng!â. ~> and his heart beat, âge deng!â. [Past form of "to beat" is still beat - one of those weird verbs. :P]
