Day 31

"Ben?"

Rey stepped into his apartment creeping open the door. He wasn't in sight instead there was empty beer bottles on the floor.

"Reyyy."

He stumbled into the room heading towards her. Rey closed the door behind her and stepped in.

"Ben you're drunk let's get you in bed."

"Reyyyy you're so prettyyyy."

Rey blushed but soon regretted it. He was drunk, he didn't mean it.

"Ben! Let's go!"

Rey grabbed his arm and led him to his room and sat him on the bed.

"Here go to bed, Ben."

"Reyyy I need to tell you something..."

He leaned closer to her, until he was breathing into her ear.

"I love you."

"What?"

"Rey...I love you."

"No you don't Ben! You're drunk! You'll wake up tomorrow and forget everything! I'm just going to go."

Rey got up and Ben grabbed her arm.

"Rey don't you get it? I fucking love you!"

At this point she started to cry.

"No you don't! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! I'm going to go sleep,  you should too! You don't love me! You never will!"

Rey ran off crying and flung herself onto the couch.

Ben would forget everything on the morning. She won't. He can't love her, he doesn't love her.

Rey sighed as she drifted off to sleep. Just one night here and she'll leave.
