Day 15

Rey awoke to her phone going off. Very loudly.

"I'll get it-"

She yawned, scrambling to grab her phone.

"Yeah? Who is it?"

"Hey Rey."

"Ben! Do you know how early it is?"

She could hear him laugh through the phone.

"Ben it's no funny! I was sleeping!"

"You're cute when you mad. Anyways I was thinking we do something today, bring your friends too. Meet me outside your apartment at 10. Bye!"

"Bye Ben!"

She hung up the phone before dragging herself to where Finn and Poe were. They were sitting in the kitchen making breakfast and flirting.

"Finn! Poe! Ben has invited me to hang out and he wants you guys to come!"

"Sure whatever."

"Poe! This guy can't be trusted!

"Yeah he can!"

The two had a argument until finally Finn agreed to go. Poe could convince anyone to agree to anything, especially Finn.

"We have to meet him by 10."

Ten o'clock finally rolled around. Rey skipped out the door, followed by Poe and Finn.

They meet Bens car on the sidewalk. Rey waved through the glass, he waved back and beckoned them to come in.

"So what'd you bring us here for?"

"We are going to Starbucks."

"Starbucks? Really?"

"Poe, Finn we haven't exactly started off at the right foot. This morning I have the place almost to myself. We need to start over."

They murmured in agreement.

The four of them arrived at a nearly empty Starbucks. Ben beckoned for the four of them to sit in a booth. Poe and Finn sat together while Rey and Ben sat together.

"I'll go order with Poe."

Rey got up from her seat followed by Poe.

"Hello."

"Hi."

"I would like to order four of your most popular drinks!"

"No specific order?"

"No. We could try something new."

Poe murmurs in agreement. As they wait for their drinks, Rey spots a young man getting his drink by her. Then he trips.

Spilling the drink all over her.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?"

The man grabbed a stack of napkins and attempted to clean her up.

"I'm fine, I'm-"

"I'm so sorry! Let me make it up to you? What's your name?"

"Rey. Rey Kenobi."

"What about lunch? Lunch?"

"Yeah that sounds-"

Poe have her a thumbs up.

"Great!"

"Okay I'll get you at 12, by the way I'm Kyle."

"Okay see you then, Kyle."

The man walked out of the store with a smile on his face. He looked around her age and he was attractive. He had vibrant greens joined by wavy brown hair. He was no Ben though...

"We are back!"

Poe and Rey came back clutching four drinks.

"We order 4 surprise drinks! Hope you don't mind!"

Finn and Ben shrugged and grabbed their drink.

"Hey guys guess what? This girls gotta date!"

That got there attention. Finn looked happy while Ben looked annoyed.

"How'd that happen?" Ben asked.

Poe then explained the whole story to him.

"That explains the coffee stain."

Rey looked down at her shirt and shrugged.

Those simple words left a pang in Ben's chest. But he should be happy for her, she was his after all.
