Comments of chapter undefined of Harry Potter: Heir of Darkness

so is the MC just a bit slower than expected because he's trying to learn things the "right way" which uses incantations and such? because it seemed like before he was much more adept at transfiguration since he turned that table into a tree.

I didn't like the fact that the MC attacked Malfoy in a fit of rage while also ignoring the Slytherin rule of being united outside the common room and that any possible confrontation must be handled internally, I hope this has consequences both for the protagonist and Malfoy.
