Naruto defended himself against Amaterazu with a layer of chakra, and he also thought about how Jogo didn't do anything to him, that means that the heat doesn't reach Gojo, so it wouldn't do anything to him.
It could be like that, personally I don't think so, but considering that he can still use infinity, when things touch in reality they don't, the atoms don't do it and since the sixeyes could control the energy at that level he can create an infinity barrier of that size

Amaterasu cannot go through infinity because it does burn the target or the position where the target is based on what the user sees but it does not have the capability to bypass space but kamui could technically bypass infinity and attack the target, so both kakashi’s kamui and obito’s could kill an infinity user if needed
