Useless idiot, before he used the Force to sense an entire planet, all he needed was to do the same immediately and find the place where Nebula was trapped. If he had done this, he wouldn't have had to run around like a madman taking down countless soldiers and would have had much more time to escape as a result. He could even find a way to do all this without anyone other than the soldiers accompanying him noticing and not to mention that it took him even longer to exchange words with Nebula when he could have caught her right away.
