You could probably task the house elves to help you organize and sort the room. They’ve been using the room as a lost-and-found. After a long period of time, the stuff that’s lost is free game. They’ve likely not been instructed on how to handle all these objects and if you tell them you’re helping to make Hogwarts cleaner, they’ll likely help you.
Clearing out the RoR is a must-do in my opinion! Who knows when someone might cast something like, oh, Fiendfyre and destroy everything inside. I wonder if the Diadem actually works though. According to Helena in DH, it should. I never read any Hogwarts Legacy fanfic (I always skip them in Ao3 because I never played the game and am not familiar with the OCs) but I've seen some gameplay videos and there were many interesting elements in the worldbuilding. I didn't expect you to include them, and honestly I'm not mad about it at all! It's pretty ingenious actually. I wonder if it's going to be an easy challenge for Harry of it's going to have a whole arc of its own. I hope it does!
