I'm curious about the perspective of the author of defining a villain . Tai lung too some aspects were definitely a villain . Here , it just seems mc despite living two lives ignoring his own wrongdoings. Is it deliberate, or is it going to be part of his character development ?
Emmanuel_Capricorn:A little bit of both. They are living at different times so evil is a very lose term. And his personality is still that of Tai Lung as he dominated the soul. it's more like Tai Lung getting memories only almost. For example, he still truly believe that if he is strong, he has more rights than the weak. and he does not consider killing soldiers as actually killing. In his opinion, warriors and soldiers already resigned their life when they decide to become one. He is a warrior at heart. And I am not such a amazing author that I can give development to a seemingly perfect character. So I delibritely put some a little obvious flaw on him.
Author doesn't really understand what a villain is. LOL. You say mc is no villain and yet, every thing you made him do is what an immature, evil villain with tantrums would do. hahah You know Joffrey Baratheon? he did the things he did cause he was the heir to the Iron Throne. So when he got away scot-free from one of his vile acts, he started to understand that nothing will happen to him as he is the Prince and heir. He believe that everything belongs to him as he is one of the most powerful man in Westeros. That's the same mindset your MC have, Author, but guess what? that only made him an idiot, that only made you an idiot. Just like what Tywin Lannister said, " Any man who must say, "I am the king" is no true king.". Let me remind you, Author. any man who thinks and says "He can do everything thing he wants has no right nor he is qualified to do anything at al". Do better, Author.
