to those who are complaining about the magic that he is not following HP rules of magic then you are rong he is. wands are magic focus to enchant the magic and Chanel it ie it is a cruch. that means he needs no wand and people have used chant less magic in the movies so by all rites he is following the rules of the world

if it was an FMA fic by all means, snap away, but this is hp verse, and there are multiple different schools of magic, not just snappy, snappy, or snappy. if you want him to be snappy op and never have a challenge again, snap away, but it makes for boring reading.

You guys realize that FMA alchemy system is the closest thing to HP Verse magic <Transfiguration,Charms,Runes,Arithmancy and Potions=Alchemy>, right? Technically Roy is using "WAND MAGIC" , his glove is a foci . That is what wand magic is. Before you guys complain that he needs a magical creatures body part to make a foci, remember that his first glove <Ishbal War>and near the end of the FMA series he used his own blood to make the runic circle. If you recall FMA and FMA: Brotherhood did say that the pocket watch given to all state alchemist are actual foci . Roy just uses a glove with a alchemic circle on it. Alex Armstrong uses a gauntlet. The alchemic circles are rune based.

personally i thought this story was going to go the way where roy would lose his magic and only be able to use alchemy do kill people and he would become the hogwarts alchemy teacher. but i like it
