I honestly didn't like this chapter. Even before, I didn't find it logical about the author explanation on how her brain wasn't developed so she acts like a child. And now, how the author portrayed her to be so weak minded (trauma or no trauma) I'm simply not buying it... But thanks for the hard work.

yeah it's not her fault nit at all when someone has an experience like what she had they freeze paralyzed by fear and to those that say she has the strength to fight to resist to escape just be glad you don't have to watch experience or understand that kind of pain my stepsister was almost assaulted by her uncle her family kicked her out when she was 15yr old she had a crush on my older brother but it didn't work out but regardless of that he brought her to us and my mother took care of her and later after high school she got into a bad very bad abusive relationship with a guy my brother once again saved her and introduced her to a good man their married now and after the longest time have a 4yr son now but the trauma she had made her extremely uncomfortable around men unless they were family well not her original family but us only thing you can do is be there understand and if she needs it be the support her rock in the storm
