Unlocking chakra isn’t a thing. It’s completely fanon. There isn’t a lock on chakra. Anyone born with chakra can use it. And per the anime, everyone on that planet has chakra because the God Tree tried to absorb even civilians who were not ninjas. Also, there are geniuses that have been fine. Shikaku, Tobirama, Hiruzen, etc. I don’t like when authors use stuff like this as an excuse to keep their MCs super weak.

Let's see how this progresses. Basically I'm not a fan of the protagonist because it seems to me that everyone who thinks Sakura is useless hasn't seen the anime. However, as long as the "Sakura hater" thing is not recurring then it will be fine. So far it seems that she is perfectly justified in her worries to me, sacrificing a few years of childhood doesn't matter if it guarantees your future security. Nice chapter.

Was the mc a girl before reincarnation or a boy? Either way this story does have promise so even if it doesn’t end up being for me I hope you enjoy and have fun writing it as I’m sure others will enjoy reading it. (I’m on the fence weather to read it or not, some of these story’s are amazing then others are just Disappointing, but I’m willing to give it a try)
