I'm sorry but the You part is throwing me off. Whenever I read and "you" is just casually mentioned or dropped, it makes me feel like his name is "You" and not "Cadmus". 😐 - 'Her eyes fell on you and you couldn't help but have a visceral need to answer'. - It wasn't like you didn't know the answer'. - 'congrats you. You got the answer right'. See what I mean? The POV you're writing in doesn't really match with how you're writing. Or this is something else 🧐

Yeah the “you” every paragraph makes this almost unreadable

so i guess the mc is gonna be another child soldier who is a pawn to be used then get rid of after he sees the truth of the game of cat and mouse
