He tries to read his mind but with a simple apology nothing happens? uuf illogica

In a previous chapter I had doubts about MC's mental maturity, whether he was receiving the effects of his teenage body, or whether he suffered from some mental illness in this or another life. I'm almost sure it's a small part of being affected by adolescence and a somewhat immature mentality, along with the impact of the situation in which you live, such as the mental stress of having changed worlds and the danger of that world, and the mental stress of the amount of knowledge that he's putting in his brain.

If I was in his place I'd definitely hope, want, and try to stay away from the mutant bs problems. Often they are way to convoluted and end up black and white choices doesn't leave much room for middle ground.
