He should have had someone henge as himself, traveled underground, popped up in the middle of their army, and attacked them all. This is stupid strategy. Waiting until they fire a tailed beast bomb, then attacking the energy ball? Dumb. What if the powerup wears off because he attacked? Makes more sense to fire the first attack as a surprise attack at the greatest number of shinobi.
