If canon truly begins, then the mc should change it before. No need to involve with the main cast of dxd, but have either issei die or the boosted gear gone. I don’t care if the mc doesn’t get the boosted gear, since he himself said he doesn’t want tools. He can exchange it maybe with the system and gain points according to the item exchanged. Or just remove it, so no issei.
