oh wow, i was not expecting that quest failure twist at all. i thought we would get to see a significant power up once julien completes the quest, but it seems like he can achieve the same but by using the blue book for a few weeks more and instead gain the professor as an ally. i thought the professor was just a emotional one off character, but im happily surprised to see him become a reoccurring one. maybe he’ll be like leopold? and julien calling kiera cute… i swear the reader is purposely leading us into multiple directions on who the romantic interest is!!! entrail you cheeky bugger
