I recommend you to try reading Hard Enough. It's a Brock SI where he already did his journey and is currently a gym leader. He has a Rhyperior and I think that the fic has the best in regards to the personalities of the pokemon team as well as memorable nicknames.

The fight was good for a low teir fight, but fights in the future will be plenty more destructive and bigger, for example earthquake and surf have large area destruction, hyperbeam and such have long destruction, no idea how field effects will work like sunny day. But, I have faith you will make it work! Also, don’t worry about the use of game jargon, use them or don’t use them, in the in end it’s up to you.

TFTC, the battle was pretty good, i would suggest to use more battlefield elements in the fight like the trees, stones etc. don't need to do it every fight of course

Thanks for the chapter!! He should've send his surroundings more since he is in a forest there should be plenty of trees to use as a shield while his pokemon are fighting.

Tftc, btw author regarding nicknames u can give nicknames only to Pokémon that is close to Mc like for example. His 1st Pokémon or the 1st Pokémon which hatches from egg. With this u don't have to write every Pokémons nicknames and it's easier to remember

The fight for me is pretty good, but if you think you can get better, then I advise you to take a look at the fights from the Pokémon Master and Legendary Trainer fanfic.
