I hope the MC still becomes the Iron Fist. It would be a shame to lose the iconic role of Iron Fist in exchange for some OC content. If you must have him become “The Fiend”, I hope he obtains both. No sense in allowing anyone else to become the Iron Fist. For example, if your rival becomes the Iron Fist, there’s a good chance he will get big-headed and want to kill the MC in the future. Comic book logic.
