I don't care about Snape's supposed backstory to be honest. I'd rather find myself comfortably feeling superior without having second thoughts. I'm not here wanting to associate with Snape, I'm here to escape reality and not be confronted with the fact that everyone else also has problems in life
Wow! This is probably the best chapter this far! It is sadly a very true representation of domestic violence and the reactions to it. Also it does explain a lot about Snape and his inner world and actions. Keep up the great work and also I understand now why the name of the chapter is Shadows.
