Isn't the Phoenix clan a bit too OP if even the destruction magic can't defeat them? How can they die then? I don't remember anything from the anime.
Lazy writing and stupid characters. Just stab them with a sword and keep the blade inside of them or restrain them rather than repeatedly attack while watching them slowly heal as part of a cinematic scene while wallowing about how useless it is. Heck, could probably just keep the POD on his head for a bit and it might register him as brain-dead for long enough to teleport him out. There's a number of solutions that are just not tried in canon because then issei wouldn't be the hero.
Ok, i noticed something. Riser could die if his Magic ran out that's the only way besides holy attacks. i just wanted to mention it. but as always i liked the chapter, and now i start seeing how eren got injured in the first chapter.i think he chosed his "first" friends on Rias and Sona, kinda like when he went to Marley and hid there, but I'm not really this good at expecting a novel where it's going so i could be wrong.
