I know that feel man. everywhere we look we get reminded of our dog running and making a mess. Sometimes I get reminded of my dog when looking a that old shoe he liked to bite. Take your time cause the pain never completely goes away. Focus on writing or something to take your attention away. it worked for me somewhat.
