Interesting world structure and powers . Just curious Is the mc just going to have this ability or he's going to get more abilities in the future ?? And does trainer trait makes it impossible to have pokemon without these traits ? Like is it now impossible for mc to have a dragonite or garchomp?
Isn't that basically a nerf? Like it says you can only catch and train a certain type of Pokemon and if you catch other types, you won't get good results even of you train them well. At this point, this doesn't even feel like a Pokemon fanfic anymore with all these extra bs over complicating things to the extreme.
soul_words:As written in the chapter, a human can only have two types(like fire and steel or steel and dragon) just like pokemon. He can catch a garchomp in future, but its growth won't be as fast as say a dragonite as it is a part flying type.
I like the thought of the affinities here. I think you have a good mix of interesting options now especially when you go with a flying and dark mix. Would a honchcrow, bombirdier, and mandibuzz line then get like 4x growth because he has both affinities. While others with only 1 receives a 2x boost?
What's the point of a Pokemon fanfic if he can only catch Pokemon with certain types. It just takes the fun out of the entire story. Just imagine that out of all the types out there and of all the amazing Pokemons, he can only catch Pokemon with Dark/Flying typing. If that's not completely BS I don't know what is!
