Doomsday was not created by a madman, but by the greatest mind of his era. If everyone around him had been guided by ethics, science would never have progressed very far. As far as I'm concerned, there is no better power for a protagonist than Doomsday's adaptive regeneration. It is the most necessary and all-encompassing power for the protagonist. Both in terms of limitless development potential and the degree of usefulness at the start. After all, what's the most important thing? Survival. Survive and win. If a character has no regeneration, then he is incomplete. What's the use of all that Superman's strength, if when he fights an equal opponent, he just outlives him, heh. Would love it if Allen got adaptive regeneration one day :))))
