Hm I like it a lot. A crazy person rediscovering bending in a way only a crazy person could. I hope he gets his hand back though, or he can form a perfect one out of metal or earth.

This is somthing I always believed true, the elements converge on each other so much that one bender could learn another element, an earth bender could get to water through mud and fire through magma, and air through dust, and so on for other elements.
